Had first childbirth class...
Is it weird for me to say that I'm excited to labor and give birth?! Our class was 7 hours this past Saturday with another this upcoming Saturday. I plan on going natural and everything about the class had me more and more excited about my decision. (Which is funny because this past week's class was all about interventions and if you do still want to get them and how they help and such.) DH and I went out afterwards to get an exercise ball so we know we'll have a birth ball with us in case the ones at the hospital are all in use. And we can practice different laboring positions at home.
Maybe this will change in the next 12 1/2 weeks, but I'm actually really excited for it!

That's so awesome that class pumped you up and didn't scare you! Unfortunetly, some people deal better with less info rather than more and the classes can be too much to handle. I was pumped for L&D too, and ended up with the birth I had hoped for.
Also, the exercise ball is amazing to sit on now to help the baby get into the right position for birth. It puts your pelvis in a more hospitable position than sitting on the couch or a chair, and helps baby move head down.
I also loved it when I was labouring at home, but found the ball in the hospital wasn't inflated enough for my liking so ditched it right away. Good call on getting your own to use for labour.

This is me too. I am living in denial that labor and delivery still have to happen.
