Lurker with a question Re: Budget Software

I have been lurking for a bit and am learning a lot. DH and I are really trying to get a major grip on our finances in the hopes to purchase a home in the next 12-18 months. We've struggled finding a way to budget as I stay home and his income is varied from month to month. We currently use Quicken and I have just recently downloaded Mint but I was wondering if anyone can suggest software that you can specify the start date for it to start pulling information from. Or is this a way to do this in Quicken? My googling has led me to believe there isn't but maybe I missed something? Thank you so much!

Re: Lurker with a question Re: Budget Software

  • I don't think you've missed anything - I just enter mine manually into excel.  It takes longer, but it's the most accurate thing I can find.  I have it as a google doc so my H and I can see it on multiple computers.
