1. We slept in this morning and it was glorious! She has been waking up an hour earlier than usual for the last week so 7:30 and she slept until 9:15!

2. Of course I woke up at 8:30 all panicky and wondering if she was okay.

3. It was her first night in her new bed so I was even more worried. She seems to really like it but wants help getting in and out.

4. I need to clean the house today. Top of the priority list....the litter box, picking up the living room and cleaning Ava Nichol's dishes.

5. I am having chex mix and Pepsi for breakfast. Because I am lazy and we need to run the dishwasher.

6. Ava Nichol has been giving lots of unprompted loves lately and it makes my heart melt! Kisses, squeezes and blowing kisses

7. When you ask Ava Nichol to say I Love You she blows a kids and says Mwah.

8. DH is driving log truck again which is awesome because he makes more money and gets home earlier!

9. I am organizing my craft room/office and Ilove it! So eexciting to not have everything be a big mess!

10. I think that Ava Nichol is finally back to normal after the holidays. Not constipated, back to sleeping normal ish and her diaper rash is gone. Poor kid.

1. I hate Tuesdays. I swear my child knows when its a Tuesday because those are her "lets have a temper tantrum at 6:30 in the morning" while trying to get ready for school.

2. It's cold out. I'm cold. This building is cold.

3. I work in Newport, RI and work right beside the water. The wind came at me and almost knocked me and Lexi down.

4. The stupid wind also took my breath away. I had to breathe in my jacket to catch my breath.

5. I've been doing really well with my NY goals. DH and Lexi have been more active, we have all been eating healthier, and I am trying my hardest to stop procrastinating and being lazy at home, and so far I've gotten a whole bunch of things done. Work - is a different story.

6. I really want a bag of doritos. The red kind, in a small bag - see! I'm trying to be healthy!

7. Okay, I have been sneaking some snacks - oreos are my dang weakness!

8. Did I mention, I'm cold?

9. I got nothing else...

1. Cranky doesn't even BEGIN to describe me today.

2. I need to get rid of this cold STAT. I'm totally paranoid I'll go into labor and not be able to do my breathing exercises.

3. DH made me hot chocolate for me this morning - because he's awesome.

4. I've been asked, "How come you're not at home?" by every coworker I've seen today. I'm ready to just start responding, "You know, I don't know."

5. I just found out my GBS test came back negative. Woo!

6. My EDD is in 12 days. Say what?

7. Work is officially trying to cram 2 months worth of projects into those 12 days.

8. I'm hoping LO holds out for 1 more week so my dad will be back from the UK. Considering my progress though (only 1cm), I'm assuming he has no plans of going anywhere.

9. I'm EFF. I plan on having a beer with the first dinner outside of the hospital. I want winter lager now!

10. Baby boy has decided he no longer wants me drinking orange juice. I have GERD and for some reason, acidic things haven't bothered me this entire pregnancy. However, yesterday I had a small glass of orange juice and my chest was instantly on fire. I'm sad about this. I miss orange juice.

1. I can't wait for my a/s tomorrow!

2. I have my 20wk checkup either before or after the scan and i'm hoping its after. i'd like them to take my bp after so its not up. i'm sure i'll be nervous for the a/s

3. i'm tired. its cold. i'd like to be in bed

4. my back is killing me. I hoped my workout last night would get rid of the kink but it didn't. i'm uncomfortable sitting at my desk

5. i'm working on putting together a folder of standard procedures that my co-workers will need while i'm away. its not easy! the other person that knew everything I do was fired last summer so its all in my head...job security?

6. my husband is driving me bonkers lately. I need him to realize i'm pregnant and don't want to sit around at night giving him back rubs, I need one!

@pennstated912 sorry about the orange juice but hopefully it won't be long until you can have it again! Also, I hope baby waits for your dad but not much longer than that!

@amccul20 yay for a/s! I would think they would do your appt after since you aren't supposed to pee before your u/s but I could be wrong. I will be waiting (Im)patiently for your update!

@amccul20, what time is your appt tomorrow? Hopefully it's early!

XP from GP's 10 Things:

1) The meeting, which was the whole reason I didn't get to work from home today and had to brave the negative wind chill temperatures this morning to come to work, was a total waste of time.

2) Our editor-in-chief even said it was a complete waste of time.

3) Is it summer yet?

4) DH made a delicious dinner last night of strip steak, mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli; I swear I could eat those mashed potatoes every day of the week, they're so good!

5) I finally know what to do with the 2 old cashmere sweaters I have sitting around waiting for new lives (they've got holes in them after several years): I'm going to make pillows out of them! And possibly wrap a candle holder or two.

6) I'm really nervous for tomorrow's appt.

7) My hair is SO static-y today!! It's really annoying.

8) I'm out of stuff...

1. I'm exhausted! Still haven't caught up on sleep from our awesome ER visit Sunday night/morning.

2. I've been getting a lot of headaches lately (a few per week) and I'm almost positive it's because I'm not drinking enough water. I have a big cup sitting on my desk; i swear I just don't think to drink it.

3. DH has pretrial for his custody hearing tomorrow. I'm nervous for him.

4. I have my 2nd tri screening on Thursday; can't wait to see LO again!

5. I'm so glad that it's standard practice for my OB to do an u/s at every appointment and it's 100% covered by insurance.

6. DH asked me to pick up broccoli on my way home. I thought about saying, "Are you crazy? it's negative 20 out there!" But then reminded myself it's so HE can cook dinner, so it's really the least I can do.

7. I really need to find the motivation to work out again. It's so hard in this weather! DH bought a punching bag for the family for Christmas, but I'm not sure he's going to hang it because it was meant for the house that we ended up not buying. Better find something else!

8. I'm in HR. One of the managers at a facility I support just called to ask my advice on giving leave to an employee so she could attend her father's accused murderer's trial. Talk about a unique circumstance!

9. 5:00 can't come soon enough!

10. My BFF is getting married in 2 1/2 weeks! I'm so excited but nervous about how my dress is going to fit because I'm still in that "is she pregnant or just getting fat?" phase. I already returned the original dress I bought (which I LOVED at the time I bought it) because it now looks terrible. I should get the new dress I ordered on Thursday; I hope it looks OK or I'm screwed!

1) I wish DH would listen to me when I say to get out the space heater and run it next to the pipes. Our upstairs pipes are frozen because he didn't listen.

2) We had a two hour delay today because of cold. Yay!

3) My OB okay'ed upping my Zantac dosage, but I feel nauseous now. But the heartburn finally went away.

4) I had chest pain and back pains in the car this morning because I was wearing a non-maternity winter coat that was too small. My maternity coat's zipper is broken and I haven't had a chance to get the zipper fixed.

5) My 7pm lesson cancelled! Yay for getting to go home!

6) I meet with the MFM tomorrow to talk about GD monitoring.

7) I don't understand how I haven't gained any weight (ok, 1 pound), and baby is under the 50th percentile for weight, yet they claim I have GD. I know it has to do with the hormones that the placenta puts out, but I also thought it was linked to weight gain and heavier babies. I'm 28 weeks and baby weighs 2.8 lbs, which I was told is under the 50th percentile.

8) I'm hungry again...

9) I'm so uncomfortable. The band on maternity pants hits me in the wrong place, and the pressure hurts. But it's so cold that I don't want to wear leggings, and I feel self-conscious in them anyway.

10) Can I get back in my warm, cozy bed please?

It's not until 11:30. I don't know how I'm going to get through the 3 hours at work beforehand!

I wanted to make it as close to lunchtime as possible so I wouldn't need to tell my boss I had yet another doctor's appt in the morning that I had to pop out for. I don't want to arouse suspicion just yet if I can help it.

@luckyangel07 my appt's are at 8:00 and 9:00 so hopefully i'll be back in the office by 10:15ish at the very latest.

If at all possible I try and make my appt's for first thing in the morning because I hate the anticipation of waiting for them!

1. I was so nervous at my appointment this morning I thought I was going to throw up.

2. They didn't even do the colposcopy, I was sitting there naked waiting for the doctor and all she said was we will do the colposcopy if my pap comes back abnormal later this year.

3. DH went with me to the appointment. When I asked why he decided to go he said "I don't want to be like your aunties and uncles who don't support each other at all". My heart melted!

4. My uncle had surgery (I don't know what it's called) to lose weight. He paid $14,000 and now his wife, my aunt wants to get it done too but he says it's too expensive.

5. I think DD needs a new car seat. How do I know if she does?

6. I'm seriously watching Tom and Jerry. I hate cartoons. Blah.

7. Right after we get our taxes done we will begin house hunting. I'm so excited but we have seen the ugliest houses for $300k. Not cool!

8. We are thinking of maybe building our own house but we haven't seen any land nearby. Everything is far up in the mountains...... no thanks.

9. I hate going to my mom's house because of my sister. She has a cat and I'm really allergic to cats and my sister always wants to kiss DD. It's annoying.

10. Is anyone good at using words Excell? I want to make columns, put a guys name on top and under it some payments we've made and then have it all add up at the bottom. Is that possible? Any help is appreciated

@amccul20, eep! So exciting!

I wish I could have had an appt at like, 8 a.m. That way I wouldn't have to miss any work (might roll in a few minutes later than I usually do, but I get in early anyway). But the earliest they had was 9:30, and like I said, I didn't want to have to tell my boss that I had to pop out a second week in a row.

@bridget0117, yes, what you want to do with Excel is totally doable. I'm not great with figuring out the math functions, but I know I've done it before, and I could probably figure it out again. Can you PM me what you need to do? Or I can PM you my email, you can send me what you've got so far, and I can try to figure it out and send it back.

@bridget0117 All you need to do is highlight all the boxes you want to add up and find the sum button and it will add up the boxes for you. The sum button looks like an E written in cursive so the middle line of the E is more like a sidways v if that makes sense. It would be found under formulas if you have 2010. Let me know if that is confusing!

And for her carseat, she needs one if she has reached the max weight or height (but really it is less about height and more about if the top of her head is within 1 inch of the top of the car seat). Our Graco SnugRide 35 goes to 35lbs and DS was in it until he was 18 months although we left it attached to the base cause he started getting too heavy for me to carry.

@lindseyandjamie, I'm not sure how much DD weighs right now but she has her 4 month check up Next week and I'll find out then. I just feel like her current one is a little snug on her. The seat belts (is that what they are called? Lol) are at the last row and they won't pull out anymore (I don't know if that makes sense) and they clip and everything but I feel like they are a little too tight. Oh and her feet, have reached the edge. Maybe I can go to BRU and they can tell me if she needs a bigger one right?

I will thank you. And no she doesn't. Since its cold here I'll put a sleeper on her and that's when it's tighter on her.
