Half our pipes froze last night. Mind you, we HAVE space heaters. I asked him last night to go up into the attic (requires going up a ladder) and get it down. He didn't. And the upstairs froze, and I'm worried about downstairs. He has done JACK SHIT about it today while working from home. Dude, we are homeowners, we need to HELP it along. Get off your ass and get to Ace or Home Depot and get the fucking space heaters so we can help the pipes along. I just got really nasty with him on the phone because he's sitting there saying "I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do," after I've told him THREE TIMES. GROW UP, GET OFF YOUR ASS, AND DO IT.
I firmly believe that had he done it last night, LIKE I HAD ASKED, it wouldn't be THIS BAD today.
Ugh...

I learned that trick a long time ago with my dad. If them seeing me start doesn't get them moving I start asking a million questions "hey it says to use a Philips wrench, do I have the right one?" "where do you keep the hammer?" That gets them annoyed enough to "just let me do it!"
