How would you take this if someone said this to you??

You're ever so slightly mental, aren't you? I like you even more now.

A male friend (who has a crush on me) that I've known for a long time said this to me after I was joking and rambling a bit. I bumped into him at a grocery store.

Re: How would you take this if someone said this to you??

  • A compliment or mean??
  • I should have asked him what do you mean but you know how it is.....you think of what to say later.
  • I think that's rude. :(

    Hmm...maybe...
  • I should have said, "I'll take that as a compliment."
  • depends on the context...was it serious or jokingly....you may need to get rid of these douches in your life.

That's what I am not sure about if he meant it seriously or jokingly. I'm not sure if it was his way of saying that he likes that I am silly....

I don't know about you but this post is utterly bizarre.
  • I admit it is bizarre. I am just kinda fixated on what he said because I kind of liked him too.
  • you're over thinking it way too much.....just go with the flow.

I use to be like that in my 20s and after a lot of drama and stress in my life, I just turned that off! Do some yoga, deep breathing and take a bath :) Relaxing is my middle name

You should try it.  I go twice a week.  All the yoga studios are on groupon all the time so you can try it out for a month for cheap.  I'm addicted at this point.

I'll keep it in mind. I literally have zero downtime :(
  • It's a compliment. Men like women who are different and unique to keep them interested

I frequently tell my husband how strange he is. I guess it's a good thing that he knows what I mean by it. He's very silly, but only at home and only in front of me. I get to see a side of him that no one else has access to. He knows I cherish those moments.
