So today we're going to do something a little different. Each person states something that is Wonderful (WW = Wonderful Wednesday) and something that's bugging you (What's bugging you)
WW: The coldsnap should be ending soon!
WBY: I have to go to the dentist today. My permanent retainer on my bottom teeth broke three weeks ago and I finally have an appointment to see the dentist. I'm afraid he's going to tell me there's nothing they can do and I have to go back to my orthodontist (in Minnesota) to get the epoxy from my teeth removed.
Echo - wow a dad can take 16 weeks off paid? holy cow. We really need
to move across the border. Here I am hoarding all my vacation time so I
can ensure that I can take at least 8 maybe 9 weeks. And DH is saving his so he could take 2 weeks off.
Degrea - feel better soon

There is nothing worse than a sickness that you just can't kick and keeps something back. Blegh.
jlq - sorry about DH not helping

Hopefully he'll get his act together soon!
Re: Happy Wednesday
I had a whole response and the internet ate it. OOOOOO!!!
WW: I slept well last night. Yea magic cough meds.
WBY: I am still sleepy and when I get home I will be exhausted. I need to start feeling better. My house needs some TLC. Plus I really would love a home cook meal.
WBY: I want to feel 100% normal again. I do in many ways but not all. I know it's only been a week but I'm feeling so much better than last time that it makes it hard to remember i still need time to heal.
About dh's leave - the government pays parents 65% of their wages and most employers will top up some amount. Dh is lucky and his employer will top him up to 96% of his pay for 4 months.
WBY I have cramps and it shouldn't be PMS. Wtf body Wtf.
E. I saw the dentist yesterday and my permanent retainer is loose on one side she said it's super easy to fix they use the same cement as the do for cavities.
Degrea I hate when you feel better but are still so exhausted. I hope you continue to improve.

WW - It's a balmy 21 here today, a huge improvement over the last few days! We don't have to bundle Eleanor up like this.
WBY - I have a super stuffy nose and need to sleep, but I had to stay up late last night because of basketball. My Buckeyes were playing like crap and then stormed back, but couldn't quite come up with the win over E's Spartans in OT.
Hi Lois!!!! She is adorable.
JLQ: Wohoo new semester!
Echo: Wohoo sleep! I am sure you will be feeling back to your normal self soon. Give it time... If you really think about it the body is an amazing thing!
Aggie: Jealous but also so excited for you. And can't wait to hear/see all about it.
And I'd say sorry for the loss last night but I didn't want to deal with DH if we had lost. Thankfully I was up reading in bed last night because he was watching the game and screaming at the TV. At one point he leaped out of bed and scared the cat. Oops.
Aggie - I'm jealous of your trip! I've always wanted to go to Australia. Will you pet a koala for me?
Echo - How's DS1 doing with DS2? Any transition issues?
Jlq - enjoy your day off (even if you have to clean.)
Degrea - hope you get back to 100% soon!
Update from the dentist: He was able to remove the epoxy stuff no problem (and for free!) He's been after me for years now to get the retainer removed because it can cause tooth decay and other issues if left on (it's hard to floss behind it.) With the metal brace breaking off, it just forced the issue and I decided rather than repair it just to remove the whole thing.

Degrea- it's true our bodies are amazing! It does most of the work for us but adjusting is hard.
