TGIF!

Happy Friday!!!
Anyone have exciting plans for the weekend?

Today I have to go to Walmart, which I'm dreading because I hate that place, but I'm looking for this Popcorn Indiana drizzlecorn and apparently they have it there. I'm determined to get some. I might go to the mall and buy some new jeans, also. None of my skinny jeans fit me anymore. :(  Obviously shouldn't be buying drizzlecorn if my jeans don't fit, but whatever.
We're having game night with friends of ours tonight. Should be lots of fun! I'm glad we finally have a "couples" friend here in town.
Tomorrow I'm going to buy school supplies. Yesss. I love school supplies. Too bad all I need are notebooks, a binder, and folders. I have tons of everything else still. My semester starts Monday and I can't wait!

Re: TGIF!

  • School supplies is fun! Also yeah for having couples friends! We need to do more stuff with ours but were the only ones with kids so it's hard.

We took ds2 for his circumcision this morning. Ds1 had his done the day after he was born and since he was still in the sleepy stage it was fine. Ds2 is 10 days old so not as sleepy but he's been sleeping since it was done so here's hoping.
  • Morning!!! AND TGIF!!!!! This week can kiss my booty. I am so tried and so looking forward to sleeping in tomorrrow morning! I went to bed at 8:30 last night. This weekend we will be heading to BLO for my grandma's 80th Birthday dinner. She turned 80 yesterday. We got her a Pandora bracelet so hopefully she really like it, haha! Other than that no plans. We might wonder over to our BIL/SIL because they have a birthday present of mine. With me being sick I haven't wanted to visit. We shall see.

I also wish we had friends to hang out with. We have to opposite problem echo. All of our friends have kids.

JLQ: School shopping sounds like fun. And that popcorn sounds super yummy!

Echo: Hope DS2 is feeling better and continues to sleep for you.

  • Are you feeling better, Degrea?
Our friends here have a kid, well he has a kid, but we only go over on nights when his son isn't home.
I had dinner with some girlfriends of mine from school earlier this week and we decided next time we would bring our men and they could all meet and hopefully get along, then we'll have more couples to hang out with, too. It's nice because none of them have kids yet, either, so we're all in the same boat basically.
I love going to be super early. Even if I don't fall asleep right away and just lay there and read, it's so nice sometimes to just relax in bed!

Echo - Hope the little one continues to rest for you!

  • I am feeling better as in the aches and pains have gone away. I still am tried all the time and my throat is still bothering me. If I am not seeing any improvements over the weekend I will be going back to the doctor.
