RE - Starting on this path
I have the number to a fertility specialist that my SIL used. I am leaving work in 15 minutes and plan on calling them to schedule an appointment. I am nervous I waited to long in this cycle to call, DH saw it as me being negative from the start when really I think I was just being proactive and realistic. Anyway, I waited and now I am about to start spotting (just noticed a tinge to my CM).
ANYWAY - do they normally want to start seeing you at a specific time in your cycle or does it not matter? I've already had CD3 hormone testing done, is there anything else I might have to be prepared for before this appointment?

Re: RE - Starting on this path
Good luck! Making the call is always the hardest. Good luck!!
I honestly don't remember where I was in my cycle when they first saw me. All I know is that they took half my blood (and they'll likely take a bunch of yours... sorry...) and did an ultrasound just to get a baseline of where I was. Then again, my appt was a bit different than a "normal" first RE visit. I'd just had an HSG and knew that I was being referred to them so they could tell me I needed surgery so my visit may have been a tad different. Either way, I think bloodwork and u/s are pretty standard. I hope your visit goes well! GL making the call
