What is everyone eating this week?

What do you do when you get in a food rut?

What is your go to "healthy" meal?

  • Our options for the week are...

    Shephard's Pie
Caribbean Jerk Chicken, green beans and noodles
    Kielbasa and Sauerkraut
    Nachos
    Sloppy Joes

When I am looking for inspiration I either go through my cookbooks (I have like 20 and am always looking for more) or look to pinterest.

I don't really have any go to healthy meals which is why I asked the question. I'm a lazy cook and want easy.

    My TTC Journey Blog

  • I failed at going grocery shopping this weekend and I'm restarting the South Beach Diet this week, so today will be my last cheat day. Usually I would say I'd wait till next week, but I've already done that once this year, so I'm making myself start tomorrow, nothing wrong with starting on a Tuesday. So here are my dinners plans, everything made with leftovers to take for lunch.

Tuesday: Garlic pork roast with green beans
    Wednesday: Breakfast casserole
    Thursday: Steak with broccoli
Friday: Garlic shrimp with green beans
    Saturday: Stuff peppers

Maybe posting this here will make me stick to it.

  • There's 2 pounds of ground beef thawing in my fridge.  That counts as "planning," right?

  • I'm usually really good about it, and meal plan on Thursdays, then prep everything on Saturday or Sunday.  But I was away for the weekend. So my planning consisted of absolutely nothing.

Hopefully we don't resort to take out.

  • We're planning to make:
    Citrus chicken, rice, and veggies
    Italian Beef

I usually look on Pinterest or Cooking Light for new things when I'm in a rut.

We've recently discovered spaghetti squash and have made that a few times as our healthy meal the last few weeks.
