4:15 am... I half awake get myself together and finish up a few things around the house.
5:00 am... I get admitted.
5:30 am... I'm fully hooked up to IV's and have had my lady bits awkwardly shaven.
7:45 am... ultrasound... the doctor says "I think the baby is head down, I'm going to get a second opinion."
8:00 am... (OR ready to go...) the second doctor agrees. Baby has flipped and is head down... so they do a cervical check, I'm a fingertip dilated. I'm not so sure what the doctor was reaching for up there, but I really hope she found it.
8:30 am... IV's out and discharged.
9:00 am... breakfast at Cracker Barrel
I'm all scheduled for an induction on Wednesday of next week because my blood pressure was doing wonky things and they didn't like that at all. Personally, I think it may have been the idea that I was about to have surgery. I'm supposed to cut out nearly all the sodium I can from my diet and only drink water or fruit juice until then. I go on Friday for another appointment in the office and probably again on Monday. I've literally spent all day since getting home in bed pouting and sleeping. It kind of feels like someone cancelled Christmas.
