Baby officially has an eviction date

At my appointment, we officially scheduled a "just in case" induction. My Ob practice doesn't like to have high risk moms go passed 41w1d, especially if they think they baby is measuring big.

So, at the very latest baby boy will be evicted from my belly on January 26th. I'm praying I don't need it, but very glad that there is an end in sight.

I really hope he decides to come on his own. I want baby to come when he's ready. I was told at the beginning of my 3rd tri though if I reached this point that an induction would be put on the books.

Basically, the reasoning for my doctor doing this was because he didn't want to continue the stress on my body (bigger baby gets = more stress on my body = higher likelihood of seizure during delivery) if we absolutely didn't have to. Plus, the SPD and shortness of breath probably helped lol. I think the office just feels bad for me at this point.
