Degrea now it really is wed hey hey.

I hope that means it's a good day for everyone :-).

H and I were supposed to get up and run this morning but I convinced him snuggling was way more important. Hehe.

Re: wed!

  • I was totally going to start a thread the same way aggie!!

Wednesday!! I'm kind of scared for today. My sister is leaving this afternoon so I'll be alone with the boys. I know it'll be fine but I'm nervous. Ds2 and I have an appointment with our midwife after lunch. I'm curious to see what he weighs. He gained back the weight he had lost very fast which is awesome because ds1 did not do that.

I have a lot of cleaning and organizing to do before starting daycare next week so I'm hoping my boys cooperate. Please!!!

Also is it weird for ds2 to wear just like a pj set to his baptism? It's white pants, a white onesie and then we have knitted sweater hat and booties
    from dh's grandma.
  • Hello!!

Aggie - Snuggle is way better than running, good choice!
Echo - Has your sister been there since Baby 2 was born? I can see why you are nervous about her leaving! But you're a wonderful mom, I know you'll be ok!
I don't think it would be weird for him to wear what you said to his baptism. Sounds perfectly fine to me!

I have another long day today. I also get to have my only class I haven't yet had - Intro to Health Careers. Oh boy. It's from 1-3 right after my a&p class which leaves me no time to eat so I'll be starving when it's over. I work from 4-11 tonight, training in xray again which was fun on Monday because I got to see all their awesome equipment. I'm such a nerd. haha!

  • Xray does sound fun jlq! I would be intrigued!!!!

My sister was here and then left but can back this weekend. My mom was here from ds2s birth until Sunday. We haven't had any time with just us yet. Dh is going a bit nuts constantly having people in our house so he can't wait but I'm scared.

I agree in cuddles over running. I'm not a big cuddler but I hate running with a passion!!! I do need to work out though. I've decided March 1 is the kick off to my workout. That gives me over 6 weeks from now and it'll be 2 months from ds' birth so it should be a good time. Now to decide what to do for said workout.

I also plan to do a sugar detox for 3 weeks since we've eaten so much junk with Christmas and New Years and visitors. It'll be hard but my body needs it.
  • Good Morning! Yea it is Wed. Only three more days left! Not too much going on here today. I made some cards last night. I have all of Feb. done now. I need to make a list so I make sure I don't miss someone or something.

Aggie: I agree as well snuggling way better.

Echo: Good Luck today! I am sure you will be great.

JLQ: I hope you brought snacks with you. I reccommend pop tarts and trail mix. That was my go to snack in college.

  • So my 1-3pm class got cancelled. I work, but not until 4, so I decided to just come home. I hope this doesn't happen often!

  • Hi ladies!  Not much going on here except work.  Blegh.  DH is trying to plan a vacation for us for this spring/summer but every day when I come home, it's a new location.  I told him he can decide where we go since I've picked the last two.  But he has no idea when he can take time off of work so it's challenging to try to plan/budget.  Hopefully it works out!

Degrea - yeah, no treadmill at all for us.  It just won't work the way our house is which really sucks.  But oh well.

What kind of cards are you making?  That's some dedication to arts and crafts and that's really awesome :)

Echo - how's it going today?  And I have no advice on the baptismal outfit, sorry!

Jlq - good luck with your super long day today!  I'm exhausted just listening to it.

Hi Aggie!  Yes, snuggling > running in my book.  Excellent decision.

  • I love making cards!!! I'm making invitations to my sil baby shower. I made the last ones. I should make cards for all occasions. I like it!

That's awesome that you're planning a vacation lbv!!

My day has gone well. My sister is leaving tonight so tomorrow is our test. I took ds2 to the midwife for a checkup today. He's gaining weight well which is awesome because ds1 didn't gain fast. Sorry for the boring baby talk. I'll find more exciting things in life I promise!!
  • I am making cards for the year. I invested in Cricut machine around the wedding (hard to believe that has been almost 3 years). Since than I have been doing more and more things with it. I made my wedding shower invites and the table cards for the wedding. Than scrapbooking. Now card making. I also keep purchasing more cartidges for it as well, which give you more options of things to cut out. I made all of my chrsitmas cards (not the cards you send in the mail (those were photo cards, but the cards you give to your parents, siblings, etc.) I making birthday cards and anniversary cards for the year. I am done with Feb. onto March which I don't think has anything in it. April has a few birthdays and anniversaries though. I will also be making Mother's and Father's Day cards and graduation and any weddings I know of. I hope to have the cards made for the entire year by mid Feb. We shall see how that goes. Cards are so expensive and I enjoy making them so I thought I would give it a try. I am still purchasing all of H cards though, so Valentines, Anniversary, Birthday, and Christmas. And Sympathy because I would feel funny making that card.

LVB: Boo on the treadmill. Total Bummer!

Echo: Glad DS2 is gaining weight. Don't worry about the baby talk stuff. If it gets to be too much we will tell you, hehe!

  • I am so intrigued by the cricut machine. I would love one I think. Maybe one day!! For now I have a few like hole punch cutters and an embossing gun that entertains me.
