    I may have to jump into your discussion because I started it this morning.

    @jjr1214 and I are reading Just One Day by Gayle Foreman.  I think we decided to have about the first 10 chapters done by this weekend, which means I better get on it.  Having a sick kid at home has kept me from doing any reading, let alone anything else. :)
    Books Read in 2016: 4/50

  • @Shepherdjel and I are reading "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close"

    Due to our busy schedules we will be moving at a relaxed pace and we plan to have the first two chapters finished by Monday :)

    @Hoycie If you need to push it back more we can! I have plenty of things to read in the meantime. :)

  • @xdanniellex and I are going to attempt to read two. First up is On Dublin Street by Samantha Young and the second is Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. As soon as library copies come in we're starting.

  • @eajanvrin and I are reading Still Alice by Lisa Genova. It was a book on both of our TBR lists on GR. Personally, I have been putting it off for quite some time. I just know it is totally going to gut me. My grandfather had Alzheimer's disease and I helped take care of him. I am also a nurse so the science aspect appeals to me.

    I'm not buddy reading this time around, but I just requested this book from the library.  I've been wanting to read it, so maybe it'll be in in time for me to keep up with you guys!
  • @sneetches, if @Tootermi flakes out (which I'm assuming is happening), I know @moroccojade is looking for a buddy still or you can pair up with another group if you'd like.
    @Tootermi , where are you?!

    @CeeCeeSugaPie I will be interested to hear what you think of this one. It has been on my TBR list for a while now and I have been putting it off because my grandfather was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's a couple months ago and I think it will be too difficult to read. I am also a nurse and will most likely be helping take care of him when he moves in with my parents this spring. I really look forward to your discussion on this.

    I really, really liked this book. I think you will like it. I always sell it to my friends by promising them it's not as depressing as the subject matter may lead you to believe! Not to say you won't shed a tear or two, especially with your personal connection, but it's not as hard of a read as you may think! I also really liked her next book Love, Anthony. I think she's a great author.
