What are you thankful for?

Im thankful that one of Chris' classes was cancelled for lack of interest. He was all about taking as many classes as he could to get this done as fast as he could. But even after 2 classes this week he is exhausted. He took a "Mental Health Day" yesterday (which he should have done a long time ago) and was asleep more than he was awake yesterday, then went back to bed at 7pm last night.

His job is so mentally draining, that 3rd class would have killed him.

I'm thankful that my mattress is nice and comfy because we've spent a lot of time camped out in bed this week.

I am thankful my eval went better than I expected. We even talked more about me and this CW and surprisely my boss understood where I was coming from. She's very blunt and sometimes talks down to us like we're idiots. Idk if she means to, but it makes me not go to her for help.

I also told him I was pregnant since he brought up how I horde up my leave. I figured I'd rather him know in case, heaven forbid, something happens in the 1st tri and I need to leave work unexpectively. He hugged me, which was awkward, and was really happy for us.

I'm thankful we know some people who know some people high up in the Artesian organization. We got our bill from The Leak & it's for 47,000 gallons of water, which is approximately 42,000 more than we typically use in cold weather months.

I'm thankful for my best friend. She's an amazing woman who is going to be moving somewhere (she has no idea where) for her new job. The first thing she said when she told me is "I don't want to miss your baby!" . She's so selfless - she's waited for this job opportunity for 4 years.

My BFF moved away too and it was so hard. Thankfully hes back in the DC area so its not too far. Keeping my fingers crossed shes moving to a still drive-able distance!

I'm thankful for my mom. Daycare called this morning and said that T had a high fever. I really couldn't afford to take the day off today so my mom is watching him.

Hope he feels better! I was just thinking that if I was working full time, I would have used all my sick days already and it's only halfway through January between both kids. That's awesome your mom can keep him.
