Re: 3T Check In

  • AF is here. Blah.

QOTW: Looks wise, I don't know, because there aren't really any non-skinny famous actresses. Someone would have to get fat for the role or something (Oscar Gold). Just based on personality and my preference for them, I would say Kate Winslet. She's very elegant and mature but she also has a sassy spark.

Lots of love to my 3T girls!

  • @amandaf6383 Do you care to add me to the list?  We're going to try on our own while we pay off debt.  So it will likely be winter 2015 when we try Clomid again.

What information do you need from me to get me added?

  • I posted about this yesterday in another thread.  Our cycle is cancelled due to overstimmulation.  I'm getting a little worried and wondering if I should call my doctor.  I've been cramping since Tuesday and today is definitely worse.  I just went to the restroom and it hurt to push when peeing.  Should I be concerned about this?

  • I started a new job in December, so I'm still getting insurance settled (referral, authorization, etc.) and accruing leave so I can take off for FET. We're looking at hopefully early April for FET #1 now. This actually works out, b/c if we were successful I'd have a due date after my 1 year job anniversary and be eligible for FMLA.

  • ILRV - GL!!

ystaalinburg - I'd at least call.. :( ((hugs)))

Update: I'm broken. I haven't had any more bleeding.. tested yesterday afternoon (negative) and temps are down. What the heck... After the incident earlier this week though, I'm scared to go without a pad and it's REALLY annoying...

QOTW: maybe Reese Witherspoon.. mostly because she's just a normal, average girl but she seems to have a little spunk to her.

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

  • Hugs and kisses to all of you.  I've never "met" a group of people whose happiness I care so much about.

QOTW: Perhaps Emma Thompson.  She seems so down-to-earth.  Or maybe Melissa McCarthy.

This is totally normal. Your ovaries are swollen and there's not a lot of space so they put pressure on everything down there. Bowel movements will not be fun either. Please keep an eye out for unusual bloating, infrequent urination, severe pain, and fast weight gain (more than 2lbs a day) as ohss is not something to mess with. (Very rare but does happen). Hang in there and thinking of you!

  • Not a whole lot new here. We are/were hoping to have a house before starting the adoption process, but since we are pretty picky about house shopping we decided that we are going to start anyway even if we don't get a house this year. Babies can live in rentals. We still have FX that the right house shows up soon though!

Update: I'm trying a no dairy/no soy diet at the recommendation of my doctor. I hope it works because soy is in damn near everything! This is most likely our last cycle of Femara but we haven't decided 100% yet. QOTW: I can't really think of an actress that I think would resemble me, maybe Allison Hannigan (she and I don't look at all alike but she always seems to play sex crazed characters and until 3T that wasn't always that far off) AW: I'm sort of one of the annoying news at the gym (minus the gym) I started really tracking calories in December and hit -10 pounds this week! I also started going to Zumba class again at the church across the street.
"I said what I meant and I meant what I said, an elephant's faithful 100%" Dr. Seuss, Horton Hatches The Egg. My Ovulation Chart Ttc buddies with LexiMS!
  • Update: My genetic test arrived back to the lab, so now we play the waiting game. I'm feeling like a crazy lady on BCPs. I want to cry every time I get frustrated. I hated BCPs when I was on them before, too.
    QOTW: Jennifer Lawrence
FFC: I have been judging my colleague so hard all week for wearing jeans. Really?
@iloveredvino - yay! I am so hopeful for you, my dear!

  • @Iloveredvino sending lots of positive vibes your way! I know how much the Lupron affects you :-( <3
  • Updates: AF is on her way out. Started the supplements I spoke about a couple weeks ago and charting/OPK'ing again. Follow-up to discuss IVF in summer is scheduled with RE in April. Hoping so hard that we don't have to go back.

QOTW: No idea... I've been told before that I probably most closely resemble Drew Barrymore, so I guess her?

Lots of love and hugs to all the 3T gals! I wish you all the best this cycle!

BTW, I probably will only be able to check in once or twice a week now since I'm back in school part-time and still working full-time. I apologize in advance for my "late to the party" responses!
