  • Hold 'n slice from pampered Chef.  Chop up onions in like 2.5 seconds!  Cut in between the spaces, then across while it holds it in place.  So simple but I love it.

  • My mortar and pestle. I seriously use that thing several times a week.

  • Garlic mincer!  I get so annoyed chopping little cloves of garlic by hand.  That or my potato masher.

  • Honestly, for a non electronic kitchen item, our huge pizza paddle probably gets the most use. For an actual "gadget", one of my favorites is this little collapsible measuring cup that's marked for dry and liquid measurements. I had never heard of such a thing until DH and I started dating again (he's more of the cook of the family) and we hunted everywhere until we found one.

  • My wine opener, because it gets to the good stuff!

I honestly don't have a non electric gadget that I use with any regularity.  I'm a little bit spoiled when it comes to electronics in the kitchen.

  • I'd have to say our pineapple corer.  That things makes cutting up a pineapple so fast and easy!  We buy a pineapple every grocery trip, so it definitely gets a ton of use.

  • I was going to say garlic press too, but let's face it, it's totally the bottle opener, ha ha. And actually, you know, in particular, we have a wall-mounted beer-bottle opener we got at a brewery in Maine one time that makes me really happy, and not just because it opens my beers.

  • @xxjen015 @snuff9861 I'm so glad y'all said knives! I was reading through the post and all I could think of is how much I use my nice knives and love them! DH and I splurged with some gift cards we got from the wedding and they are worth every penny. Don't know how I ever cooked without them! Cooking is one of my fave things!
