GTKY: Fears

What is something you are scared of that you feel isn't a normal fear?

You never would have survived my College. At the peak of their migration there were more geese on campus than students. I hate them!!

  • Noises and not in general I'm talking like middle of the night or around the corner noises. If I can't see or if I don't know the noise or where it came from I will freak! Our house is virtually sound proof (thank you airport around the corner) and it makes everything much better for me.

Also I will do whatever it takes to avoid creepy people. If they look strange or weird I will go a whole seperate direction.
  • I have a crazy fear about teeth falling out. I saw a movie once where a guy was having maybe a delusion or something but his teeth started to fall out and his skin was like melting off and I was terrified. I actually have nightmares about my teeth having issues!

  • I have a fear of blue food or drink.  I absolutely cannot stand the sight of it, it just doesn't "feel right" I know that makes no sense, but..when I was a financial aid advisor,  a student came in with a blue powerade and put it on my desk- I couldn't get through the appointment quick enough..

I know I've said this before, but my fear is mayonnaise. Nobody around me can have it. I thought I was doing much better with it (meaning I don't throw tantrums anymore) until last weekend my mom thought she could sneak a bite of sandwich with mayo in a closet. I smelled it in the room and was accusingly my grandmother and my mom was defending her. Right when I was ready to let it go, I got real close to my mom and smelled it on her breath. I had my mouth open and I could taste it! Omg I threw up. I ran straight to the sink and threw up in the sink. Back to square one.
