Re: It's Friday!

  • I don't have any baby showers to go to, so there shouldn't be any fights.

Tonight there short (5-7) gathering at the Army mess where DH volunteers, so we'll go to that.

Tomorrow we're making a quick run to Ogdensburg, NY for some fabric and then friends are having an Indian dinner at their house.  We're taking dessert, so we're going to check out a couple Indian places in town.

Sunday we don't have curling, so we're meeting a few friends for brunch.

  • Absolutely nothing! Maybe some cleaning. But I plan on taking it easy!
  • I want to see my nephew this weekend, so I hope to make that happen.

I am supposed to help a friend who is moving pack up tonight.  She is getting divorced and I am sure things will be tense.

    Nothing else planned.

  • I've got plans this weekend!! Yay!

Tonight, 2 of my oldest girlfriends are coming over to hang out. I'm making a cheddar and havarti fondue and some chicken bundles for munching. I can't wait to see them; it's been way too long!

Tomorrow, I'll be driving a couple of hours away for another BFF's baby shower. After the shower, my two other friends from college (and possibly the mom-to-be) will head back to our hotel to hang out together for the evening (we haven't seen each other since June since we all live 2+ hours away from each other). I'll come home sometime Sunday.

Monday I have the day off! Woohoo 3-day weekend!

Tomorrow: I need to get some research done, so I'm heading to the library on campus. Bleh.

Sunday: Nothing planned, but DH and I will probably go out for a nice dinner, since we haven't had time to recently!

We are, and I know I'm feeling better because I've spent the past hour or so salivating over cheese fondue recipes! I love the access to good cheeses, that's one of those things I will miss when we move back to the states.

  • Tonight I am babysitting my two nephews who are under 3!! All by myself!! I'm super excited! DH isn't much help anyway when we babysit so it shouldn't be a problem.

Tomorrow we are signing papers for my new car!!!!!!!!!!! Then I have an engagement party that evening.

Sunday we are having guests for dinner. Which gives me about 6 hours to clean my house... hmmm

  • Tonight:  Catching up on everything here. :)  H works midnights and his days off are Sunday and Monday so he goes back tomorrow night.

Tomorrow:  Going to a second viewing for a house we aren't going to buy with my dad.  He built my parents house so I'm hoping just to get his take on what we should and shouldn't be looking at while we're house hunting.  That's in the morning so H will need to sleep throughout the day so he can work tomorrow night as well (btw, I hate overnight shift and he's on it for a year..boo).  I'll probably work from home for a bit and go get groceries.

Sunday: Church and then an open house or two. Then who knows what we'll get in to.  H will sleep some through the day again so maybe I'll find some crafts to do.

Monday: I'm technically not off, but H is having teeth pulled and will be on some good drugs so I'm playing chauffeur for the morning.  They say the meds make them seem drunk but I've never seen H drunk so I'm just hoping I don't have to try to support his 6' 6" 290lb body at any point because it won't happen. :)  Once I get him home and settled, I'll be working from home.
  • work. shower work, mall shower work.
  • We've got nothing scheduled this weekend which I'm pretty darn excited about.  Whenever Dh decides to wake up for the day I may suggest a 'date day' of going to an early movie and lunch. Sunday will consist of watching football.  Oh and the gym, I need to go to the gym at least once this weekend.

We had date night last night and after dinner, we saw this.  It was really good, but I feel like it's one of those movies you need to see a 2nd time so everything comes together.  It goes pretty quickly.

We are both working today, so blahhh to that.  Don't really have any plans except watching the Seahawks on Sunday night :)
