Andrea

I have a friend going through IVF. She has been doing the injections this week and has her surgery to get the eggs on Tuesday. How invasive is it? Is it something I should send flowers for? Is the putting the fertilized egg back in more invasive?

Re: Andrea

  • I think flowers for the retrieval. She'll have to go under anesthesia and they really poke around in there to try and find all the eggs.

Transfer is apparently really straight forward and over in like 20 minutes.

Good luck to her and her husband!!!
