This cracked me up. I know we've discussed almost every single one of these at some point on this board.

  • This was amazing and 100% true. Especially #19. I will put off all the chores and errands for reading on the weekends. Then I stress about it all week long and promise to do better. Then I read some more.

  • See, I love laundry day.  It takes several hours to do it and I only have to get up every 45 minutes for 5 minutes.  It's like 3 hours of guilt free reading!

But the problem for me is I forget I heard the dryer or washer buzz at me. And eventually I'll realize I don't hear them running and I'll get up, throw it all on the couch, and keep reading lol.

So laundry takes 6 hours instead of 3, I don't see the problem where reading is concerned. ;)

There is never a problem where reading is concerned. :)

  • DH is always wanting to reduce his book collection so we don't have to move it again the next time the church moves us, but my rationalization is that the church pays for movers, therefore they move the boxes.  We just have to pack and unpack them.  No big deal.  Bring on the books!!

Lol I need this. I have to bribe family with pizza to help move all my books.

  • This was awesome and totally true.
My DH and I are currently debating whether or not we need a new bookshelf. He has a massive collection of Shounen Jump magazines from when he was a teenager and I'm constantly buying new books( and comic books and graphic novels and...). Honestly, I'm thinking about just storing the little ones on our media shelf til we make up our minds.   :))

  • DH told me we need to buy a new bookshelf. It's like music to my ears! However, we have no place to put new bookshelf. And...I'm not sure I can fine one that matches what we already have.
