WBC Book blog: The Silent Wife (NS)
I saw this book on 60secondreviews.com, its a review site that gives 60 second video reviews. I had heard a bit of buzz about this book and put it on hold at my library. I then saw the review (the reviewer gave it 4 stars out of 5) so I decided to give it a chance even through Goodreads had less than favorable things to say about it. I agree with the reviewer, the tone of the book is very cold and the characters aren't very likeable. It is the kind of book that you bring to the beach and read in an afternoon. Not the most amazing book but good enough to keep you reading and wanting to know how everything resolves itself.
