Not sure about where you guys are but it is currently 7 degrees here today. Brrrr!! Not that I am complaining I love the cold and the winter. My work computer is currently FUBAR. Some how Outlook disappeared. This means I don't have email or my calendar. Do I have a meeting I am suppose to be at?? Who knows?? It also means that all the drawings that I am suppose to be reviewing is not happening since they are all sent through email. So pretty much I am waiting for IT to call me back. It is has only been one whole day of doing nothing, take your time. My boss won't care at all! On another not car is bought, we pick it up tomorrow.

Aggie/Joy/E: Props to you for running. I really wish I was a girl that could run. It hurts my knees and ankles too much. I can ellipitcal with the best of them, haha! I need to get my booty in shape. Maybe you gals will inspire me.

    The weather channel website tells me it's 17 here, but feels like 6. It's also snowing, which I love. We don't get enough snow here. 

    Sorry about your computer! That stinks! What kind of car did you get? YAAYY new car!!

    Hi! It's cold here. I had to pick up the yard of land mines this am before the snow covered them blech. THEN I went for a run before it for colder and started to snow. Let me tell you I is freaking cold already!

    Degrea. That stinks that your computer is down. That is terribly frustrating. Yay for a new car! I want pictures.

    And it doesn't matter how you stay fit its just being active that counts :-). I hated running for a long time even though I was pretty good st it in school. It's still not my most favorite thing but I can enjoy the peace of it. Although when its seriously cold there I'd no fun for me.

    Jlq! I love snow too. Everyone seems to complain around here. I don't know if it is for lack of anything better to say. But I enjoy it :-)

    My poor niece fractured the distal ends of her ulna and radius. (the ends closest to your wrist). Poor girl! She has to have a cast on for 5 weeks. Thankfully they didn't fracture the whole way through, so her recovery should be quick! She's most upset she can't do gymnastics for a while, the girl lives for that. And her 10th birthday is tomorrow - what a birthday gift! 

    Aggie - Sooo I may be coming to D.C. in March, and if so, we should try to meet up! It's a trip with the school, but we'll have free time she said. I won't know for sure until the second or third week of February if I get picked to go or not. 
    I think people just like having something to complain about. People complain about the snow here, too, and we hardly get anything!

    My computer is fixed!! WOHOO!!! Thanks to Dennis the IT GUY! Now to start some real work. We ended selecting a GMC Terrain. Its Ashen Grey Metallic. I am glad the whole process is almost over. Car shoping is tough work.

    Medical terminology is the dumbest class. I'm taking it as an online class, so obviously I just sit with the book in front of me to complete my work. Every week we have to write three sentences using a medical term from the chapter in each one, then we have to reply to 3 other students' sentences, taking out the term and breaking it down. This week as also had to write a sentence using a abbreviation in it. We also have a quiz to take on each chapter, so obviously I just look up the answers in my book, yet I still managed to miss one last week. wtf. 

    Thanks, Degrea! She told my sister she couldn't go back to school until they got her a Sharpie so everyone could sign her cast. hahahah!!!! She's too funny. Glad your computer is fixed! I had no idea what that type of vehicle is, so I looked it up - looks nice!! Car shopping is terrible. I plan to avoid doing it for as long as possible.

    That class does sound silly jlq. I hope you niece heals quickly. Didn't affect her growth plates I hope?

    HAHA that is funny about the Sharpie! What color cast did she get? Also that class does sound lame. I have never taken an online class but I can't imagine I would learn much.

    Aggie: You are correct. Good to know! My parents have one and so do my grandparents so I have driven them before. Also it is actually shorter than my current car (buick, lacrosse)!

    She got a blue cast. The PA at the ortho office said she has a "buckle fracture". Basically the bones buckled in on themselves and bent away from the growth plate. It's the fracture most common in children. I don't think she'll have any lasting complications from it, but it may affect her gymnastics for a while after her cast is removed and she continues to recover.

    Degrea - I'm not a fan of online classes, but none of the classroom based med term classes fit in my schedule, so that was my only option. It's easy, for sure, but I'm definitely not learning anything. What I know so far I've learned from my A&P professor making us break down words in class.

    I just scrubbed the shit out of our tub, and it still looks dirty! Grrr!!!! That annoys me so much!! I can't do anything to get the stains out. I literally poured straight bleach on the tub and let it sit one day and that didn't even do it! 
    I ran out of Clorox wipes, which is just the most terrible thing ever. I also don't want to go out to buy any. hahah. 

    Degrea - a silver sharpie is a great idea! I will pass it on to my sister!

    I hate that as well JLQ! I had a tub like that is my last apartment. No matter what I did it look dirty. I tried soft scrub, bleach, kaboom, scrubbing bubbles, ajax, etc. I just accepted it after a little while.
