Hi Ladies,

I just made my first comment and brief introduction on the can we talk church thread. I thought I would also make an introduction here and give more detail.

DH and I bought a new house in Oakland in June 2013 and then got married in September. It was a whirlwind year and now we are happy to be settling into married life. DH had a dog when we met so now I am a dog owner for the first time (after years of being a cat person). We go out to bars and restaurants a lot, go to the movies often, are big Penguin fans and love to entertain. We have decided to be child free but are very happy to be aunt and uncle to my brother's three children.

A couple of things about me: I am a cookie addict and I have a slight couponing problem.

Hi and welcome to the board!! it is always nice to have some new participants. Some of us have been here for what seems like forever and our discussions sometimes get a little stale! I live south of the city and have a 6yo daughter and two little dogs. Current obsession is home improvement and decor... and cookies. did someone mention cookies?

Welcome! As the others have said, it's nice to see some new faces! Congrats on your recent wedding and new home. I live in the North Hills, will be married for 8 years this May, and have 2 little boys who are about to turn 3 and 5. We also have 2 dogs, a shih tzu Timmy and lhasa apso Lucy. My interests are vodka and wine and I am currently obsessing over our poor man's reno of our kitchen.

We bought a new house last August by Robinson and we are currently trying to sell our old house and our condo in Shadyside. We have no kids and two dogs: a Boston Terrier named Hank and an American Bulldog named Bruce. We will be married for 11 years in July

We own a house in Beechview. I have two very ill-behaved dogs; Dexter is rat terrier and Nigel is a boston/rat terrier mix. I have one son, Gabriel who's soon to be 2. We'll be married 10 years in July.

@Meghan&Rich I appreciate your interests. Vodka and wine are good things. DH used to live in the North Hills and some of my good friends are there. @Kris356 I used to live in the Robinson area. It is like we made opposite moves
