Whine-I am stressed. Between Ava Nichol's health scare (orange feet), my health stuff (abnormal results and more testing) and my mom having major surgery on her jaw at the end of this month, I am a wreck. I am trying to be calm and not let my anxiety take over but it is hard.

Win-Ava Nichol still seems to be doing just fine other than the orange feet, I might be getting close answers with my stuff and my mom will feel so much better when her jaw is fixed.

Whine-The living room and kitchen are trashed already when I cleaned them both spotless on Monday. Ugh.

Win-We are going grocery shopping tonight! Yay for food!

Whine: My head and neck are just not right and still hurt if I moved the wrong way. I need to buy new, good pillows.

Whine: Breezy is a bed hog and kept waking me up last night.

Whine: Day 2 of diet and boss is eating pasta, my favorite! I feel it should be outlawed when I can't have it.

Win: I think I'm going to treat myself with a cupcake tonight.

Win: C is spending the night this weekend. DH has his Star Wars RPG night which means my friend will be coming over with her little girl L. We'll be baking cookies, going to Play Land, and having dinner just the 4 of us.

Whine: I wish A was coming too

Whine: Still no motivation to work. I'm such a slacker. But my job is so boring, and knowing I'm leaving in 6 months is not helping!

Win: We scheduled our babymoon on accident during a family event, but were just able to reschedule without having to re-pay any fees!! That's a double win.

Win: I told my department about the baby yesterday, and it's so nice to be out at work (I figure the news will slowly make it around to the rest of the company). It was way more of a relief than I expected. And I don't have to wear bulky clothes anymore, woot!

Win: DH and I are both home because of the snow. Win: it's DDs birthday so we are spending the day doing whatever she wants. So far we've had pancakes for breakfast and are watching Doctor Who. Whine: only bad part of the snow day is DH won't get paid, and I will lose a sick day. I need to save as many days as I can for maternity leave since I don't get any STD.

@smbenevides1989 - happy birthday to your DD!

Win: DH has been contracting at his old job (laid off 2 years ago) for the pat year and he just got offered a perm position!

Whine: The recruiter failed to tell his new boss about the 20% fee they'd have to pay, or they have to wait 90 days to hire him (it's some kind of deal with the recruiter and company, not the contracting company... DH made sure there would be no fees if he was hired from the start). So now we wait to see what they decide to do.

Win: My BFF is getting married this weekend!!! and the new dress I ordered fits perfectly and is so much nicer/more "me" than the other one I got. Double win.

Whine: My monthly team meeting lasted 2 1/2 hours and I was starving the whole time. Now that I can eat I'm not excited about what I brought for lunch.

Win: There are extra bagels, doughnuts, and muffins left from the meeting. I very well may have one of each!

Whine: my evening nausea has morphed into morning noon and night nausea....every. single. day. blah!

Win: I get to work from home today so at least I can suffer in the comfort of my own home.

@wiggyslilsis, sorry you're feeling overwhelmed. I hope it all turns out okay.

@smbenevides, happy birthday to your LO! How fun to get to spend the day together!

Whine: It is freaking cold outside! I cleared off my car and my toes and fingers hurt they were so cold (with 2 pairs of gloves on and 2 pairs of socks inside my warm sweater boots).

Win: Snow day! No work for me today. I got to sleep late!

Whine: Poor DH has only been home about 6-7 hours in the last 24 hours; he left yesterday around 1 p.m.-ish to start working snow removal for his brother (who has contracts for plowing/shoveling all over the area) and got home shortly before 7 this morning. He got a shower, slept several hours, and then left around 2 to go do more snow removal.

Win: I go my Rx filled at a different pharmacy this time (since with all the snow I wouldn't be down in the city to pick it up and needed the refill today), and they actually filed it with my insurance company properly!! The Walgreens in the city has been charging me the full $38; the one closer to my house was $25!! Why are some people so incompetent? But yay for saving some money this time!! I'll definitely be getting it refilled there from now on.

honestly I'm not bragging but this is me outside in 80 degree weather. How can it be this extreme from where most of you are to where I am?? I should have paid more attention in geography class.

Win: I bought a body pillow today and am very excited to use it. Whine: I've developed RLS and possibly SPD. It's making sleeping and walking very very difficult. Win: I'm still down 4kbs and the doctor is very happy with my overall progress. (I'm only supposed to gain about 10 lbs since I'm already overweight. Win: magnesium supplements are helping the RLS.

@DangerMuffin23 - I've had RLS a few nights and it is one of the most annoyingly frustrating things. I'll have to remember the Mg supplements in case it gets worse. I'm sorry you have that and SPD

I'm glad your doctor is happy with your progress and my that you are able to still work the seasonal job!

Thanks @goodwolf. She's fine with me taking 500mgs about three to four days a week. Any more and she said she'd want to test my blood occasionally to make sure my mag levels don't get too high. And I added tums for extra calcium. Easy enough fix if you want to give it a go!
