Ugh! Surgery is in my future.

Do you guys remember that I had a fibroid that caused me to have a c-section when I had Liliana? Well, that fibroid is still there and it has grown. It is the size of a grapefruit. It is 10.9 cm and it is causing me problems. I am going to see a fibroid specialist next week to talk about surgery options. I am really hoping I don't have to be cut open because that would be just like the recovery of my c-section. It would be 6-8 for recovery and I wouldn't be able to pick up Liliana for at least 2 weeks. Ugh. I'm so upset that I am going through this. DH has enough problems, now me?! When it rains, it pours!

I'm so sorry Tara. I will be praying you don't have to be cut open.

I have to go in when I get insurance and have an ultrasound to check on my fibroids. I am not looking forward to it.

Thanks ladies. The specialist that I am going to see has created his very own surgery to remove fibriods. It is an alternative to being cut open. However, not everyone is a candidate and insurance may not cover it. I am praying it works out in my favor!

I wonder if this snow storm will keep me from going to my appointment. It's not until Thursday, but if we get 10 inches I wonder how the roads will be. Supposedly fown where I am is getting more than up there. I really don't want to postpone this appointment.

I hope not. By Thursday though, it should be fine. Tomorrow I would be a little bit worried, but not then.
