Fireplace/Mason Rec?
Anyone have any fireplace or mason experts they can recommend? Our fireplace in our new house is pulling away from the wall significantly. The builder's brilliant suggestion was to put calking around it. The real issue is that when it was put up it doesn't appear that they used mason ties (we can shine a flashlight in the space between the wall and the bricks and there is nothing there.)
We want to have an expert come out to take a look so we have a leg to stand on with the builder.
