Those of you who follow blogs

What feed burner do you use and why?  When we lost Google Reader, I switched to NetVibes, which worked great for a while.  But they just did a site upgrade and now none of the formatting in any of the blogs I follow shows up - it's just one long stream of text.  My eyes are bleeding.  I need something new apparently.

Re: Those of you who follow blogs

  • I started out using Feedly, but I switched to Bloglovin' and LOVE it. I hate the name of it, but I am really happy with how it works. I don't miss Google Reader at all.

  • I don't read blogs at all anymore after Reader's demise. I have a Bloglovin' account but I just skim the day's posts.

  • After Reader died, I liked a few of my favorite blogs on FB and for a few of those that had the option, I got email subscriptions.  I have a bloglovin' account but I don't ever check it.

  • I'm another one who stopped reading blogs after the demise of google reader. I'll read stuff that people link on twitter and Facebook, but that's about it.

I use feedly. I tried bloglovin too, but I like feedly better.

It is how I follow the boards and blogs.

  • I use Bloglovin. I like the format and how easy it is to use.

  • I started using Bloglovin. I did reduce the number of blogs I was following when I switched from Google Reader to Bloglovin so that it's a more manageable number. I still only click through for a handful of blogs to read full posts and end up skimming others.

I think most of my personal blog's traffic is coming from Twitter nowadays.

  • I use bloglovin and like a lot of others have said, I'm mostly skimming the posts. There are a handful I always click to read, and I like being directed to the actual blog. I have removed a few that I never click to read more, but it's a lot of skimming during the day. DH uses feedly and really likes it.

  • This has been super helpful.  I'm going to try out Feedly, but even more informative is how many people aren't following via a feedburner anymore.  I almost never post links to my blog on FB or Twitter, but I wonder now if I ought to start.
