  I'm thankful I had the day off yesterday to relax, eat a lot, and get my house picked up since i'll be out of town this weekend!

  I am thankful I am given ample sick time at work since I am working on not leaving bed for day number 3.5 most likely not tomorrow either. Not the way I want to start my birthday weekend

  I'm thankful maternal and fetal medicine waived my diabetes consultation (this would be the 4th one in 4-5 years). It was a fight, but they finally waived it when I kept asking to talk to the head nurse and the docs. I couldn't shake my feeling they just wanted the $40 co-pay.

  I am thankful for H.  I've been asking him a lot of questions at work this week and he has been so patient with me.  I never realized how good he is at explaining things.  He had actually considered becoming an English teacher at one point in time (he was an English major) and I could never picture it.  But now I can!  It's like I've discovered this whole new side to him...and I love him even more!

  I'm thankful I'm going out of town this weekend. It's not a convenient time at all, but I don't care. I may even turn my email off on my phone so I don't have to deal with work while I'm away.

  I'm thankful for my H. My car wouldn't start yesterday morning because of the cold and I called him screaming like a looney tune. He came home from work (in Maryland!) to fix my car so I could get to work.

  I was going to post this morning that I was thankful that the plumber fixed the pipe that burst in my classroom yesterday and my day should be "normal" today. But when I got to work this morning, we have not heat. FML
