Re: TGIF!

  • Oh so thankful it is freakin Friday!

Today is work, then dinner on my grandma's side of the family.  Which will likely be cut short.  They're the definition of cheap Dutch, and don't turn their heat on.  It's in the negatives here.

Tomorrow is my 8 mile long run (hello half marathon training).  Which will include watching Breaking Dawn while on the treadmill. :-)  Then ripping out carpet at the city offices with H.  Then I might work in my office on tax stuff, and read a book.  Or nap all afternoon.

Sunday we're driving 4 hours away for my cousin's 3rd birthday. If the weather lets us.

TTC since 1/13  DX:PCOS 5/13 (long, anovulatory cycles)
    Clomid 50mg 9/13 = BFP! EDD 6/7/14 M/C 5w6d Found 11/4/13

  • I took off work today because I just couldn't handle one more day at work this week.  People were really getting under my skin and every day was building up more and more and I really thought I was going to snap at someone, and when it's me against 26, the odds weren't in my favor, so I tapped out for the week.

So I slept in until about 6:30 and now I've spent the last 3 hours playing online, catching up on DVR and doing some reading...it's been lovely.  I think Dh and I are going to go to lunch later on and do our grocery shopping for the week.

Other than that we have zero plans this weekend.  I might call my Dad and see if he wants to hang out on Sunday but that's all I have on my agenda.  Yay!

  • Sorry about your crappy week @Xan921

DH will be out winter camping this weekend with the Army (yes, he's nuts), so I am going to sew my heart out.  I've got orders for 4 baby quilts and at least two of them are going to be completed by Sunday.  I also have some alterations to finish on a couple dresses I ordered for our trip.

The only place I have to be is curling on Sunday morning :)

Oh man, poor Chris!  I couldn't imagine camping in this cold of weather.

@nfp147, you said orders, are you now taking personal orders and selling the quilts?

  • So happy it's Friday! I felt like this week took forever!

After work today I don't really have any plans, I'm hoping I can talk my sister into coming to my side out town and having dinner with me while I hopefully get the oil changed in the truck.

Saturday my niece is coming to spend the night (FX both of them will be, not sure about A). DH has his Star Wars RPG night which means my friend will be coming over with her little girl to hang out. I promised my nieces next time they came over we would make cookies, so we will be making cut out chocolate chip cookies and decorating them. Next we will be going to Play Land. Last is a girl night dinner and hopefully we can settle down with a movie and fall asleep.

Nothing is planned for Sunday at the moment, probably grocery shopping. DH has decided he wants to try to loose weight with me so need to make sure I get vegetables he likes for snacks.

  • SO glad it's finally Friday... I'm working today, but we have ZERO plans this weekend and I really hope it stays that way. We're probably going to try and get the rest of our crap out of storage and finish unpacking some stuff. I'd also really like to do our kitchen backsplash, but that may have to wait another couple weeks.

In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

    Happy Friday, ladies!

Tonight DH and I are headed to NJ straight from work.

Tomorrow is my BFF's wedding!!! I'm so excited!

Sunday we're supposed to meet my other BFF and her hubby for brunch but we have to play it by ear. They're the ones with the preemie, who is scheduled for a traceostemy this afternoon.  I really hope we get to meet her! We have no reason to believe she won't come out of all this with flying colors, but I've never prayed so hard for something/someone my entire life!

  • Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday! It's been one heck of a week for me!

Having dinner with some Co workers tonight after work. It's one of the girls last day and I'm really sad about it.

We don't have much planned this weekend finally. Just running some errands and getting some broken crap fixed for our tenants.

  • FRIDAY THANK GOD!!!!

This week has been a doozy for me, even though I was off Monday. Work is INSANE. Ugh. Anywho, Tom and I are planning on basically doing nothing this weekend. We're saving up for our NOLA trip.

We have 11 episodes of Fringe left on Netflix. We also might pick out kitchen backsplash. And napping. Lots of napping.

  • We are focusing on getting all our house renovations done.  We started it in August 2012 and have yet to finish it.  It's mostly detail work with a couple bigger projects.  One of them, which we are tackling this weekend, is the hall bathroom.  We are going to lay down new tile, install new lighting, frame out the mirror and paint.  I just hope the adhesive from the laminate flooring comes up easy tonight or it will make for a very long weekend!

  • TGIF - This week was brutal and I'm just ready for it to be over.  Started the 5am workouts again so I'm dying to sleep in.

Tonight - just got home from the gym (because I was far too lazy to get up at 5am on a Friday when it's -2 outside) and later, I get to spend an hour or so ironing hubby's uniforms.  Always a fun night.

Tomorrow - we are supposed to get 3-6" of snow throughout the day and since H will sleep half the day (he works 3rd shift), I will be WFH for a bit to get some OT.  Not sure what's on tap for tomorrow night.  I'm sure it will be dependent on the snow situation.

Sunday - church early because we have a 2nd viewing for a house we love!  Here's hoping by Sunday night we have written an offer. :)  Also, celebrating my little brother's birthday with my family.  Not sure of the exact plans for that yet.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
