NBR: What to wear to a winter wedding?

We have a wedding next month on Valentine's Day weekend. I already don't want to go (it's for DH's secretary's daughter. We've never met her.)

I have a sleeveless dress that I wore to a wedding last September. Or a colorful, one that probably still fits. I really don't want to buy something else as I don't want to spend more money on this silly wedding and who knows when I would wear it again.

Ideas? Can I go in jeans and a sweatshirt? A red one for Valentine's Day?

Or SoCal. I went to a wedding in November and wore a long sleeved short dress sans tights. Long sleeves were mostly because I hate my arms.

AT LEAST get that dress. $60 is nothing for a nice dress! And I think I like that one even better than the Polyvore outfit one.

Yeah, not getting the coat. Like how it looks but I can't justify it. Not when it will be on for all of 15 minutes in the car.
