I pretty much refuse to wear a coat. It's 24 degrees here and I am all 'honeybadger don't care' and walked out of the house in just my sweater.

DH and I are going into the city tomorrow for dinner and a concert. I asked if he minded invited my GF since our birthdays are 4 days apart and we never get to see each other on them. He of course said to invite her. My REAL reason was because I obviously want to see her but I'd also like to have a few drinks at dinner and DH doesn't drink.

A friend posted 2 very nice and neutral colored RNP sleepers on a local exchange website, and I considered texting her to see if I could buy them from her.

Then it kicked in that I know I will be pissed off at myself later if we're 3+ years down the road and they're still sitting in my attic unused.

Yep. Last year I wore a sweatshirt all winter. I think I wrote one of H's coats one day when I was out shoveling.

This year, at my new job, apparently they thought I didn't own a coat due to financial reasons instead of laziness. Am anonymous elf left a coat at my office door once it started getting really cold. I love the generosity, but I really am just lazy and fell like such an asshat now. I don't particularly like the coat (H has one I LOVE), so I feel like an ungrateful wench if I wear his, but a fraud if I wear the one that was donated.

One of my coworkers just put one of those Harry & David-like goodie baskets in the breakroom. I took the whole bag of chocolate covered pretzels back to my desk. I'm sorry I'm not sorry.

Thought of another one.

H has been doing the PCOS diet with me for the past 2 weeks. The first week he lost 11 pounds. He text me this morning, and he lost another 7. Now I want to sabatoge him. I've lost nothing.

Leave it to men. They always drop weight fast when they finally start to get their shit together! I wish mine would realize this!

He usually doesn't give 2 shits about eating right or exercise, but somehow the lightswitch flipped this past month and he's gunho about it.

Unfortunately weight loss is similar to someone quitting smoking. They have to want it for themselves and want it badly in order for it to happen. H was a size 44-46 when we were at our largest weight in college, and the light came on for me at that time but not him. It's taken him 6 years to finally follow suit. Thankfully in that time he's lost some weight just by living with me and eating my crazy food. lol. So just sneak your H healthy food and hope it works a little.

DH makes dinner, so he's in charge of the food that he eats. :P I can't really sneak anything in. Maybe I'll be able to influence better menu options with my needing to eat healthier right now.

I hate the couples who share a Facebook. Like ____ and ____ lastname. I don't know why but they drive me nuts. It's like they don't trust each other to have their own Facebook profiles.

I eye roll hard at that too. My DH doesn't have a FB page, so he plays some games through my account. But his name is not on it. He doesn't comment or post his own statuses. I sometimes get angry that he can't get his own FB to play games, but it's not a huge deal.

My parents have an account like that. I think it's because they have all the same friends/interests. They also share an email address. In their case, it's got nothing to do with trust; it's more for convenience.

I can understand that a little more, but for people in their 20's? I'm not so sure.

R and I share an email address for bills and coupons, but also have our separate email accounts.

FIL and SMIL have this, and they say that it is because they have nothing to hide from each other. Let's just say FIL is controlling and treats his wife like she's his an unruly child. So there's no trust there. He just wants to know everything she does. It's sick.
