Re: QOTD 1/24

  • I did get to pick and I'm 830-5.  I'm not a morning person, but I also don't want to be at work past 5!
  • I got to pick mine too. I work 7:30-4. I function much better first thing in the morning. I loathe being at work in the evenings.

9-630. The older people get to pick their schedule but we don't. I work 7-430

  • I would come in 9-5 instead of 830-5 :P

  • I get to pick mine for the most part.  I work 9 hours days M-Th and 8 every other Friday to total 80 ours in nine days (2 weeks).  It's pretty awesome having every other Friday off.  I work 6-3:30.  I'm a morning person and traffic here is insane.  If I actually leave on time, then I get back anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours in traffic a day, so that's pretty awesome.  Bad thing is, I'm salary, so I'm really just paid to get the job done.  Good thing is that today it's icey here and all the bridges are closed, so I'm working from home in my jammies!  I'm not going to lie... when my alarm went off at 4:30 this morning, I immediately grabbed my phone to see if any of the bridges I have to take are closed and they were!  I was super excited!

  • I don't know. I am so not a morning person, but working later shifts means I get nothing done in a day nor am I home for dinner. Is working from home an option?

  • 8 to 4:30/8:30 to 5.  If I'm commuting through rush hour traffic, I'd pick 7 to 3:30.

  • Our hours are pretty flexible, so we get to work anywhere between 8 and 9 and leave between 4 and 5.  I think I prefer to get here earlier, but only if I've had enough sleep the night before.  I love getting off early and traffic doesn't get bad until after 8:30 in the morning and 4:45 in the afternoon.

  • 11-3 Tues-Thurs. But this isn't the ideal day to ask me. Because really I'd pick never o'clock to never o'clock.

  • Believe it or not, 6am-230pm. It is quiet for the most part in the mornings in the lab. Plus when you get out, it is still daylight and you have time to get stuff done. Nights are the worst for my job in my opinion.

  • I don't mind the schedule I have now, it's 9:30-6 pm. Most of the times my later patients no show there appointments anyway and I'm ok before 6 most nights. I might not like it so much when the baby gets here and they are going to bed early but for now it's not bad. @mpjf1001 your daughter is adorable!!! That siggy pic is just too cute!
  • I suppose I have decent hours, 8:30-3:15.  If I had my choice, I'd work 10-2, Tuesday-Thursday.  I am not a morning person.
  • I would rather work 7:30-4\4:30, versus my current schedule of 9:30-5:30. I don't really like getting up at 6 am, but if I had a set schedule, I would get used to it.

  • 7:30-4:30 I prefer leaving work earlier than later....though I'm on mat leave right now and when its up I will be working from home making cakes and crochet stuff so I basically work ransoms hrs. On random days between chasing kids!!
