Halp!! Zulily's Got So Much Today!!

I'm so overwhelmed, lol!!

First of all, they've got carriers today, and at awesome prices. I'd love to at least pick up a sling/pouch for early on and leave the structured carriers for later/for DH to pick one that he'll like/can fit him.

And these slings are the least expensive (solid colors; the patterns are twice as much!): http://www.zulily.com/p/navy-true-blue-sling-69157-6761122.html?pos=14&e=1&ns=ns_007956588|1390574727612

I seriously need an intervention. I could spend all day shopping the new boutiques they have. Carriers, swaddlers, infant toys, nursery stuff, omg!

Re: Halp!! Zulily's Got So Much Today!!

  • don't do it!!! you can register for a baby carrier and not have to spend any of your own money:)
  • They're so flippin cute! I love the pattern of the first one.

@amccul20 makes a good point though.  You could toss those on your registry and not have to spend your own money.  They're at good price points.

  • OMG I'm on that site every. single day.  I've tried not to buy too much baby stuff, unless it's an INCREDIBLE deal because, like @amccul20 said, people will likely buy it for us. I've mostly stuck to maternity clothes... you can't beat $10-15 for jeans and leggings!

See, they're at great price points on Zulily NOW, but those shops only last a couple of days and then they're gone. I can't really depend on someone buying me something from Zulily, since they'd have to register an account and go on there
just when they had that thing on sale.

  • Checking Zulily is part of my morning routine!  I'm looking at all the birthday party stuff.  WAAAAAAAANT!

I agree - register for a carrier!  Don't spend your own $$ yet!  They will be on sale on Zulily again before your LO comes so if you don't get one at your shower you'll have another opportunity to buy!

I agree. I am very particular about carriers and if they are safe and will carry the baby in the most ergonomic way. I wouldn't just jump on a carrier because it is cheap.

No worries, I wasn't going to jump on something just for price. My sister gave me some recommendations (she's got a 2-y/o) and I decided not to get anything. I've got my eye on a couple of others I'm going to register for.
