Another "Snow" Day! Yahoo!

This makes the 4th week in a row that we've had school canceled due to cold weather.  I love days off...but how am I supposed to squeeze everything in?

Who am I kidding? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yay for another day off! Do you have to make up the days that were canceled?

  • We had two snow days last week as well as two delays (in addition to the holiday on Monday).  My phone rang this afternoon and I saw it was the school district and got excited.  Sadly, they were just calling to remind everyone about the modified exam schedule that was affected by the snow last week.  womp womp

    Enjoy your day off!

  • The district is currently determining how many of the days we have to make up.  There's state rules and school board rules, they are figuring out how many.  At this rate, I'm sure we'll have to make up at least one.

  • I'm predicting a snow day and a couple delays for us this week. It isn't supposed to get above zero on Tuesday so I figure we will have that day off. We have lost Presidents' Day and if we have a snow day tomorrow we will have lost all of our Easter break except Good Friday. After that if we have any more days they are added on the end.

Oh well...I hate snow and cold so I don't mind being cooped up in the house when the weather is bad!

  • Well we had a unexpected snow day today. I woke up and it didn't look bad out but people said it was really icy and now it's snowing and really windy. So looking at a snow day tomorrow tooo and then hopefully we will get back on track! Winter can leave any time now!
