Security system
Anyone have a security system for their house? Do you like it? Hate it?
We've been approached twice by the door to door salesmen. We finally said sure, this would have a lot of benefits and it's a pretty good deal. Reading online, it seems like the opinion is you are paying for extra peace of mind. I'm just wondering if people really like them or if they become annoying after a while. I'm really scared of the first time I accidentally set it off, but I can turn it off before I even enter the house from my phone now.

Re: Security system
To this day (12 years) I still can't remember the code for ILs home (don't know why). I tried going in once and completely botched it. The security company called and I answered. No one was there but me. It was a mess. I felt so bad.
If we owned a home or our place was set up already for a security system I would have it. Be sure to look at different companies and find one you feel good about.
