I'm having baby withdrawals.

L turned 14 months today, and I feel like he is so grown already.  We went to his appointment last week and there was a teeny tiny newborn there.  I am having baby withdrawals.  Please tell me this is normal since all I can think about since seeing that baby is having another one even though we haven't even started TTC for #2.

Re: I'm having baby withdrawals.

  • It seems normal based on my BMB. But I think those women are nuts!

My son was either asleep, eating, or crying the first three months he was here. I am in no hurry to repeat that! :-)

  • Thanks ladies!  I feel crazy even thinking about it because we love where L is now and do not miss the insane first 3 months or so when a baby is born.  :)

  • I feel pangs of it every now and then. Ava Nichol is pretty much completely out of babythings...iI mean she is almost 2!? So I miss it sometimes. Especially when I see those itty bitties!

  • I was hit with some baby blues a week or two ago. I had a hormone change (AF showed) and now I feel like I really need to figure out if/when we want to TTC#2. I can't decide if I want them closer or further apart in age.

So, short story is you aren't alone. :)

  • Holy shit you guys. I pretty much had PTSD until DS was 18 months old. Now DD is almost 2 and...no.

  • We started trying for #2 when DD was 15 mo and got pregnant when she was 20 mo, so I don't think you're crazy at all. I think the age gap they have is perfect (they are not quite 2.5 yrs apart).

My brothers and I, as well as H's brothers and him, all are about that same age gap too and we all have great relationships.
