I understand Cam has been through a lot and needs to get away but I don't understand just up and leaving without telling anyone. I just don't.

I'm trying to keep an open mind but we are hovering around two stars right now.

I will admit, my jaw dropped when Blake through that line at her.

I am also thinking there may be something going on with Damon and his feelings with Cam.....him fighting Damon on the rooftop because he found Cam with Blake was a little much for just a friends reaction

THROUGH Chapter 11 Please let the story line pick up soon. I have had enough of the bus rides, stops, etc. it was weird enough she up and left home but now she is agreeing to ride with a guy she has only known a couple days to visit his dad since he is dying.

Through chapter 20 Well, I can't make up my mind about this book. They are still in the never ending road trip and they just had their first "sexual" encounter. I can't help but think he is playing games with her.....since he is talking about how long it will take her to crack.....

I had no problem with the sexual tension - you meet someone and have an instant connection? Sure. But I always wondered about Andrew...is he just so sweet? Or a creep?

through chapter 29

ok, I am finally glad to see this book is picking up! the scene at the bar where Andrew sang on stage at the bar he always vists while in NOLA was one of my favorite. My heart broke when he got the call about his dad dying and him crying in Cam's arms.... tugged at my heart strings. I may be eatting my words and taking back the fact that I said he was a creep.

PS. Sorry its taken me so long to finish, work has been crazy

No worries.

My favorite part of the book was when they went to Walmart (ch 18) and he's like "Did you get the stuff for that itch?" and she's like "Did you find the extra small condoms?" I was laughing out loud.

That was a funny scene. It got a good chucke out of me. I just finished the book and overall I gave 3 1/2 stars. I hated how the beginning was such a slow build up in my opinion. Honestly if it wasn't because this book was a buddy read, I may have put it down and not finished it. I loved the scenc where they sang together on stage in the bar. He really helped her overcome some of her fears and get bold enough to tackle them. Everyone deserve a partner like that. I had no idea it would come out that he had a brain tumor and was possibly thinking about not having the surgery till he meet and fell in love with Camryn.

I figured Andrew was sick about halfway through the book. I thought it was a bit cliche. And then of course, he lives! I gave it 2 stars. I won't be reading the next one.

I still feel like the book was clipping along and then BOOM, it's a porno.

I read romance novels but there was just something about this one that bothered me.

I completly agree on the porno statement. Romance books don't bother me. I just didn't connect to the characters in the sex scenes if that makes sense??

I agree, I won't be reading the other books in the series either.

I think the book would have done just fine without the explicit sex scenes. Or tame them down. Something. They just felt out of place.

Glad I got a book off my to-read list, though!
