    Weekend Lows: low-grade fever all weekend and MS is full force.  It's 80 degrees at my desk now and it's not helping.

  • High- I got out of bed and actually went to dinner!

    Lows- I still feel crappy. I really want to get back into the gym. Im tired of being chunky.

  • Highs: M's party was awesome! He has so happy the entire day, even without having a nap. This was the first year he "got it".

    Lows: I picked M up the wrong way and pinched something in my back Friday night. After running around all day for the party Saturday it was killing me.

  • Highs - All weekend really. We had a great weekend.

    Lows - Our relator called yesterday to let us know that the deck and pool at our new house were put in without permits. She isn't sure how this will affect us but it needs to be cleared up before we can go to settlement on Thursday. Um..we've been under contract for two months. No one noticed this before now? I have a call into the lawyer to see what to do. It could be something as simple as paying some fines to the county. She also mentioned taking both out. Um..that isn't an option. Those things were big selling points of this house.

    Those are fines the sellers should seriously pay if thats the case. And they should have to fix it, if they dont get approved by the inspector that will have to come out to check them. I would choke someone out!

    This.  WOW really?!  4 days before settlement?  If it causes settlement to be pushed back, we are doing drive by throat punches!!!!!!!!

  • @mana8503 and @Mrs.Skiz - Yeaaaa.. I'm really trying to keep my cool about this but we are more than ready to get out of my ILs and my ILs are more than ready to get us out of their house. No one noticed this before?! We won't be paying a dime for this but my realtor said she isn't sure that the sellers will pay because they're already bringing $1k to the table for settlement. Well, not to be a b*tch and at the risk of TMI, we brought $10k to the table to close on the condo so cry me a river. I don't care. Pay the fines! If we have to get it inspected, it will definitely push the settlement back because the ground is frozen so the inspection couldn't be done until it unfreezes... in which case, we'll be looking for a new house. Grrr... Keep your fingers crossed for me please that someone can just pay the county and we can still settle on Thursday!

    low: Ben's brother was trying to piss ben off all weekend. I won't get into the details but he was just trying to provoke ben the entire time we were away. Ben didn't stoop to his level but he is very frustrated with his brother right now.

    I don't think it has anything to do with how much they are bringing to the table - don't they know they can't resale something that doesn't have a building permit?!  How much did they save going around the laws to begin with?  I wouldn't put a dime towards it... I'm sure fixing their mess NOW will be easier than having to fix it and then finding new buyers.

    I don't think it has anything to do with how much they are bringing to the table - don't they know they can't resale something that doesn't have a building permit?!  How much did they save going around the laws to begin with?  I wouldn't put a dime towards it...   • @amcourt09 Ugh. That really sucks...it's always something when you're buying a house...but this is a BIG something

    Highs: Lillian's potty training is going really well. I took her to Target and she was so excited to pick out new undies

    Lows: I haven't slept for longer than 1.5 hour stretches in over a week. I'm averaging about 4 hours a night and I'm literally ready to die. I think C is getting a tooth, but whatever the reason I think she's trying to kill me. 
  • High - I met a friend for brunch at Kid Shelleen's on Sunday and it was FANTASTIC!!!  Has anyone else ever been?  They bring you a basket of cinnamon rolls...for free!  It's like getting rolls at dinner, but it's cinnamon rolls!

    Low - I'm tired.  We ended up going out on Friday, which was fun, but I was exhausted on Saturday.  I sent H out for a boys' night that night so I could just relax and it didn't seem to help come Sunday morning.  Bleh.  And no, I'm not pregnant.

    @amcourt09 I hope this all gets resolved quickly. That sucks!

    Highs - spending all day Subday cuddling and playing with Logan, finally taking down my damn tree, and having J get up with Logan Sunday morning, so I could sleep away my wine headache.

    Lows - tripping over the exersaucer and hurting my hand.

    Highs..alot of relaxing time. It was nice.
    Lows...I burnt the hell out of dinner Saturday night. Tried doing a roast in the pressure cooker. Directions weren't super clear and I didn't add enough water. Oops!!
