My new BR tattoo!!!
I've been planning this for my 30th for over a year now! This is my first tattoo and I LOVE IT! It's the start of the "I can believe" quote from Neil Gaiman's American Gods (full quote here) -
So here's a story about how Goodreads can SUCK MY BALLS: this quote is listed on Goodreads multiple times, INCORRECTLY. My foot is correct - "I can believe things that are true and I can believe things that aren't true..." and on Goodreads it takes out the second "I can believe." I was thinking, while on my way to get the damn thing, that I could just look it up on my phone to double-check the exact wording, and then decided no, I should probably bring the book itself. Thank the tiny baby Jesus that I did!!!

I heard sooo many people tell me that the foot is the worst place and I was totally freaking out. I know the guy I went to was excellent and had a very "light touch," but it really was not that bad at all. I was chatting to my BFF through it no problem.

When I got mine on my ankle, it was so sore every morning for the first few days - do you have that? Like, it hurt to put weight on my foot when I woke up in the morning. Are you having any of that?

And I kind of know what you mean about the pain... I mean I would NOT go so far as to say it was "awesome," but there is definitely a kind of twisted satisfaction to it!
