1st appointment and Lexi birthday AW
Well, TN ate my post yesterday, so I'm reposting today.
So I had my first U/S and appointment yesterday. I'm not sure why my OB office had me go in so early, but I was able to see my little bean, even though s/he is only a fetal pole with the heart flickering. I was able to see the sac and ring, and so far everything looked fine. The heartbeat was at 75 bpm, which is normal for how early she was seeing me. There was another sac that showed, but come to find out it was a tiny sac that had pooled with blood. No cause of concern at this time. Because of this, I do have another u/s next week to make sure bean is growing nicely and the heartbeat is stronger.
Lexi's birthday went great. I had a hard time grocery shopping because of the pain in my neck, and the pain was still there on Saturday when I was trying to bake the cakes and cookies, but I woke up Sunday with little pain and able to enjoy myself. Everyone had a great time, they loved the cake and food, and the kids had a great time popping the Pinata balloons with their butts. It was quite hilarious watching them all. She got all she wanted and a little more, but overall the party was a hit. I'm happy it's over.
