  • so I did get my friday yoga in last week, but saturday I was out of town so I missed zumba.  but I danced at the wedding so I must have burned a couple of calories:)

    and of course last night I went to RIPPED.

  • I ran last night & would like to fit it in again tonight. I downloaded the Nike Training app a few weeks ago, but I haven't done much with it. I'm just now getting back into the swing of things.

    nada! Well I did move 10 boxes full of t-shirts multiple times today. Then my bronchitis kicked in and I have been hacking up a lung since then. I might try an OnDemand Yoga workout this afternoon.

  • I used my in-laws' bike once and I've been doing planks and crunches before bed this week. I'll start my dance classes next week after we move. 

    Also, I signed up for Moms in Training through LLS. It's a new program that they're offering that is similar to their Team in Training program only it's for moms who want to train for a 5k. I've always wanted to do TNT but it's training for a marathon and I will never be able to run a marathon. When I heard about MNT, I was over the moon. I'm really excited to start it!

    I think she said $500? Which really isn't that hard. We raised over $22k in 8 weeks when my BIL was doing Man of the Year so I think $500 is totally obtainable. And you know what, I think you can do TNT for a half....

  • @amcourt09 you can definitely run a marathon. Trust me. I did the San Diego full marathon in 2004. I did minimal training. The longest training "run" that I did was 16 miles. I say "run" because I likely walked 9-10 of those miles. I did it through TNT and was so afraid of not being able to finish that I just didn't train (super smart I know).....but I did it. My time wasn't anything I was overly impressed by, but I wasn't last. And it's such an amazing accomplishment. Now I want to train for a half, but really train. If only I would start running again!

    @uderin02 - I'll think about a marathon when I can run an entire 5k... ;)

    ETA - A girl I work with here did the Rock 'n Roll half last year and had a blast. I think you would totally rock that!
