Re: QOTD 1/31

  • Everyone in Indy is so annoying about Manning and going on and on about rooting for Denver.  In the wise words of my cousin, "Get a grip people.  He moved and he's not your baby daddy."  I love football, so I'm just hoping for a good game.  Nothing worse than a blowout Superbowl game.  So boring

  • I would have voted for a fourth option: Super Bowl junk food. ;)

I just honestly want it to stop making my commute a pain in the butt. I go through the Times Square subway station and it's been so awful this week. I can't imagine how much worse Port Authority or Penn Station, the major routes from NYC to the Meadowlands (excuse me, Met Life Stadium) will be this weekend.

  • I heart Manning.  He just seems like an down to earth awesome guy.

Oh he's an awesome guy, but seriously people here act super weird about him.

He has done a ton of good for the city, especially in regards to the children's hospital.  Awesome, generous guy!

My cousins are in TN, they worship him - it's funny.  I went to pigeon forge YEARS ago and I was really confused about the sporting store having half Vols stuff and the other half Colts... then it dawned on me - Manning.

  • I'm so not interested in any football stuff.  I may watch the half time show and try to catch some of the commercials, but since H is going somewhere else for the game, it's highly unlikely the TV will be tuned to that channel.

I was about to say, I'm from TN and went to UTK for a year where he played in college...it's like he's a hero!! haha. In Nashville it wasn't a huge thing, but in east TN, he's revered! My parents as well as many Titans fans agree that he's a great player and a good man, but they hate hearing so much about him. There's always someone at the game, no matter which team we're playing, who shouts out "f*** peyton manning!" haha.

  • It's actually more the snacks than anything, but that wasn't an option.  H is a big football fan and is rooting for Denver.  I am in a pool and am rooting for my numbers to come out :)
