Intro and Possibly TMI
I'm Risa! I've been lurking for a while now, getting to know people's stories through their posts. I'm a middle school teacher and mama to a beautiful and brilliant little six year old girl. DH and I are planning to start TTC #2 late this summer. We weren't sure that everything was going to work out the way we wanted it to, because I was on Depo for the past couple of years and my last shot was due back in September. Well, I never got it, because everyone I asked said that I should go off the shot about a year before TTC, but as of Friday, my cycle hadn't returned to normal.
I wasn't super worried about it, because I had an appt scheduled for Monday afternoon for my annual and some tests to see why it wasn't coming back when, lo and behold, AF reared her ugly head (complete with horrible cramps) yesterday. Needless to say, I will be rescheduling my appt, but it's good to know that I don't need to have all those tests done and that my body is, in fact, not broken.
So, that's my story. Hi! and I look forward to getting to know everyone.

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
