  We have to empty both the guest room and office before we can start nursery prep, since the current office needs to move to the gues bedroom. It's seriously daunting!

  everything we moved out of there is currently sitting on the ping pong table in the basement. its mostly books though so I just need to organize them and put them in the bookcases....its definetly a crappy chore!

  To be fair, he's been staying with us since September since he was looking for a new job (previously was living/working in a city 45 mins away and didn't want to renew his lease there when he was looking to get a job and move here). He got a job and started in mid-January, so now he's looking for a place to live.
  
  I asked him last week for a timeline so I could start planning when to get the room painted/put together for baby, and he was really vague--the only thing he was adamant about was he'd be out before baby came (I don't think it's crossed his mind that--though not likely at this point--baby could, theoretically, come early). Now, though, I think I'm going to just tell him he needs to be out by March 5 so I can have my spring break (second week of March) to get baby's room done with DH (and my sister's and friends' help).
  

  oh that was something I had to tackle too! my sister was living with us for a year and a half and I HAD to get her out of the house ASAP so I could be in control of every inch of my house before getting the nursery ready...I know how stressful it is having someone live with you while you're trying to prepare for baby. good luck, I hope your brother finds somewhere soon!
