Facebook?

Lately, I've been getting a lot of unsolicited advice on a variety of topics from people who mean well, but can't seem to realize that giving me advice that I have not asked for does not make the situation better. It's gotten to the point where I'm seriously considering deleting the majority of the people on my friends list (like, getting it down to ONLY immediate family and my very closest friends) or just deleting my profile entirely.

Does anyone here NOT use Facebook who can give me any advice? I'm really torn as to what I should do.

Re: Facebook?

  • Don't post things on FB that you don't want others' advice on? If they don't get the "fire", they can't fuel it.

  • I've not had FB for four years and my life has carried on as usual.

  • I haven't had Facebook in 4 years also. I don't miss it. People carried on without it before it existed. But I agree with aimothy. Don't post stuff you don't want unsolicited comments on, because technically that makes them solicited comments.
