Have you read the other books in the series, Shift and Dust?
I just ordered them and got the kindle book with audio sync for my husband so he can read Wool.

It was well written and some good stories, right?! I'm interested in seeing where this goes.

    I just finished Shift a couple of weeks ago. I liked it but it introduced some new characters and I had a hard time getting into their story lines as much as I did the ones in Wool. It is definitely worth reading though, you find out a lot more of the back story. I have Dust and am hoping to get to it soon! 

    I am amazed by the world he created…with as many dystopian/post-apocalyptic books that have come out lately I felt like this was something completely new. The first story in Wool completely blew me away! 

    Let me know what you think about Shift!

    Cool! That seems to be what quite a few reviews say, but I'm willing to see. I want to know more about the backstory. I agree the the world created is pretty great.

    I want to finish the audio I'm listening to before I start on Shift.

    I just finished Wool last week. It was so good! Definitely not a book I would have picked up on my own, but a friend recommended it and said I would like it. I'm so glad I read it! 
    I want to pick up Shift because I really want to find out more of the back story, but I'm not sure how I feel about getting new characters.

    Add me to the Wool lovers.  Definitely one of the best books in the genre I've read.  I'm excited to see what comes next, but I think I remember seeing that the next omnibus (I think that's how they refer to it, right?) focuses on different characters.  I'm sure it will be great, but I wish we could just see what happens next with the storylines from Wool!

    The next book does introduce new characters, I had a harder time getting into it for that reason. But I think the third book goes back to the characters from Wool, I am hoping to start it soon! The second book is almost a prequel to what happens in Wool.

    It's definitely worth it to read Dust and Shift.  I was so sad when I finished the series.  I'm reading Howey's Sand now.  It's good, but I miss the Wool world.
