It seems like several people didn't like the ending to Inferno, care to discuss? I finished this a few weeks ago and I forgot to do a WIJFR. This was definitely my least favorite Robert Langdon novel. I didn't like how he's become such a snob. I totally get being professor like and wanting to educate people, but I feel like every dialogue line of his started with, "Well, actually."
I did love that Sienna was sort of the bad guy. She turns out OK, but I did like that twist.
I really, really disliked how Zobrist could change the course of humanity and have the book end. I know the summit is going to discuss it, but OMG, you can't drop something so huge and then just have Langdon get his Mickey Mouse watch back, and return the mask. Which, by the way, is annoying too. A piece of art is stolen and the same guy who was accused of stealing it is able to walk right back in and replace it. It's just too convenient.
Is that what the anger is about, or did I miss something huge?

Re: Re: Inferno (SP)
I can't remember did people find out about this virus, or is it still kind of "unknown?" I feel like I what I hated most was that people might not have realized why they aren't able to have kids. I was just so mad for everyone who had to experience the heartache of infertility.

My problems with it are what everyone else has said. Langdon gets through things in ways that a are too convenient to be plausible for me. I was also pretty irate about the virus getting out and completely altering the reproductive future of the human race. I wonder how/if he'll address it in the next book, but I'm not sure I'd read it to find out. That's how disappointed I was.
