WIAR: Dust by Patricia Cornwell NS

This is the newest Scarpetta novel that released in Nov I think. So far, I'm liking it, though it does seem a bit...been there, done that...in terms of some of her relationships. I won't go into details so I don't spoil anything.

Has anyone read this yet? Rev...are you still reading these?

  • Shameful confession: I didn't realize PC was still writing Scarpetta books! I need to figure out how many I've missed.

I think this is number 21! :) I keep hanging on, but they've lost some of their spark. Those first 10ish were the best.

  • I haven't read any since she switched the POV from first to third person.  I think Scarpetta worked best in first person and I didn't like it once it switched.  I know she switched it back but I don't want to read the books where it changed.

I don't think she should have changed midstream.  #changehater

I hated that change, too, and was considering bailing when she switched back.

  • I was just looking at my bookshelves to see if I had the actual book that turned me off or if my mom still had it.

My bookshelves are a disgrace.  Our problem is too many books, not enough shelves.

Forgive me NBC, for I have no room for books.
