Updates: Ok ladies... where are we at this week? Testing, Procedures, Appointments, Adoption updates, Life updates? What’s going on, etc. Let's hear all about it!

Re: 3T Check In
Updates: No big updates for me. Still in the 2WW (AF is anticipated to make her arrival on Monday or Tuesday according to FF and Glow). We'll see...
QOTW: The best vacation I've ever been on was a trip to Kauai with my now DH (then BF). It was ah-mazing. I wish we could afford a vacation house there because I could easily go back every year. That trip was also when DH finally told me of his intentions to marry me someday, so it's special for that reason, too. :x
Wishing you 3T ladies all a great weekend!

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermIt's been 5 months since the last attempt, but feels like it is here all of a sudden. As frustrated as I was to take a break, I'm so glad that I did.
Oh! I did successfully give up caffeine. The first two days were sooooo hard. I was exhausted. But Day 3 was just fine.
QOTW: honeymoon in Hawaii. We splurged and stayed at a fancy hotel and did everything we wanted. It was amazing.
FET - transferred two embryos (boy and girl) - Nov 2014 - BFP!
DE IVF ER - 12/2/2016 (17R/10F = 8 frosties); FET 1.0 (1/27/2017) - BFP 6dp5dt (EDD 10/16/2017)
@Futuremrswright2012 – GL this 2ww!!
@rccola1981 – I hope if you and your husband decide to switch up medications it is just the change you guys need.
@nfp147 – I’m still so jealous of your London vacation!
@ystaalenburg – I’m glad that the break is helping with all the stress of this.
@iloveredvino – So excited for you this cycle! Glad to hear giving up caffeine only sucked for a couple days.
@iloveredvino- so excited for you and crossing everything this is it.
Tomorrow is 14dpiui and I've already had a bfn. Not holding out much hope. We'll try one more inject/iui cycle then I think we're moving onto ivf. Trying to hold out hope for lucky #5.
We have been extremely blessed with being able to travel quite a bit, but some favorites are getting engaged at Neushwenstein (sp?) in Germany, Napa/Sonoma, Hawaii, our most recent cruise and our honeymoon at Mayan Riviera.
Sending everyone good vibes, as always.
I understand what you mean about the break. Our last attempt was in August. I never expected we'd break for this long, but can't believe I'll be starting protocol at the end of this month already!

@futuremrswright2012 Good luck this cycle.
@iloveredvino Can't believe you're this close to ET already. So many things crossed for you!
@sweetpotato123 Sorry about the BFN. Hopefully it was just too early, and if not then I hope the next one is lucky #5.
@looneylife It seems like just the other day you posted about your break and next round. Can't believe it's getting so close!
Nothing new here. Still continuing the PCOS diet. This week has been hard with it. I had a postitive OPK this weekend and all the signs of O, then my temp didn't spike. Needless to say the OPK's got hid, and I took my frustration out on a bag of Swedish Fish (so not on the PCOS diet). This isn't the first time I've gotten a positive and haven't O'd. So we're just going to try not to use them.
Best/Worst Vacation: Best would be when I studied abroad for 6 weeks in England and traveled all over while there. It will take a lot to beat that vacation.
Haven't really had a bad vacation yet, and I would like to keep it that way.

No real update. CD4- did not start the Clomid, because H will be out of town all next week. When I called with my CD1 update, I mentioned holding off a month due to his trips. When the nurse called me back, she mentioned the option of freezing his sample. Honestly, I think if this want our first try, we would have looked more into the cost of that, but this time, I sort of want us to do it together, if that makes sense.
I also think I could use the extra time to let it sink in and prepare mentally.
QOTW:
No doubt- our honeymoon cruise in French Polynesia/ Cook & Society Islands (tahiti, bora bora, etc)
Sigh. I would love to get back there.
Second would be at the opposite end of the spectrum- any of my family vacations to Cape cod over the past 6 or 7 years! Love that we still try to do those!
After 2 years of TTC, lots of tests, and a Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy to remove several polyps,
Clomid/IUI #1 3/14: cancelled due to surprise BFP 3/8/14.
Beta 1 3/11: 398 Beta 2 3/13: 728 Beta 3 3/20: 11,482
Surprise BFP turns into Surprise Twins!

Update: Nothing new going on here. I'm actually enjoying our mini break while we hopefully get the endometrial hyperplasia taken care of.
QOTW: We really don't travel much at all, only to the local beach once in a while so I don't really have a best vacation. We need to change that. I've decided that if our 3 chances at IUI don't work this spring/summer then I'm going to plan a trip for Dh and I to somewhere tropical for my 30th birthday in September.
I do have a worst one though. When I was 13 I went on a cruise with my family and it was just awful. First we missed the boat because our travel agent failed to tell us the departure time changed, then after we spent a day and a half driving and getting on two different planes we finally met up with the boat only for me to be sea sick the entire week. I could hardly eat anything, had to get shots in my butt every day just so I didn't puke non-stop...it was awful. I will never go on another cruise again.
@zamboni00... I completely agree with your reasoning for holding off on this cycle. The whole process is already impersonal enough, now let's get his sample, freeze it, and make a baby while he's away (especially for your first, and hopefully last, cycle) would be tough for any of us. I hope next month works out better for both of you!
@islandmonkey8... You can do this! The shots are NBD! Hoping for the best with your monitoring U/S tomorrow!!! Keep us posted!
P.S. I'm so jealous of everyone's vacations (except for yours as a teen @Xan921
)! We are getting a tax refund, and it is taking everything in my being to avoid spending it all on a vacation! Getting put away for our baby fund instead. Think baby thoughts... think baby thoughts...

QOTW: We went to Switzerland for 10 days (7 with my parents). It was ahhhhhhh-mazing!!!!
Baby E born: 2/16/2014 at 12:56pm. 5lb 15oz
Update: Saw my endo Tuesday, and apparently my thyroid levels are high, not low like my OB said. She took three more vials of blood for everything with that and is also testing my progresterone levels because she is not convenced that I am ovulating (even with regular cycles). She is starting to think that I have PCOS (which makes me frustrated since OB has not said anything about this). I'm supposed to go back in two weeks but I really want to call about my levels. It's making me really anxious! Once we get all o this figured out, OB will start me on Clomid.
QOTW: We've been on some great vacations. Our honeymoon to Jamaica is one, and of course our trip to Hawaii with my sister and her BIL. Our trip to Mexico last weekend was amazing! Top of the line all inclusive with beautiful views. Since it was something that we would not be able to afford on our own (we looked up how much it would cost to go back), it was a really nice perk of DH's job!
