AW: Kids say the cutest things

My 4 year old niece is the sweetest thing ever:

Neely: Mommy, did G-d rip open your tummy and put me in there?
My sister: No, He made you inside of me.
Neely: Oh, right, because He's inside your heart.

I know I'm biased, but I just had to share.  I cried.

    That's so cute!

Lexi and me go back and forth with the same line:

    Me: I love you Lexi.

    L: I love you mommy.

    Me: I love your more!

L: No, I love you most!

She wins every time. She loves to give me hugs and kisses after that too.
My mom and I still do this.  Every time I tell her I love her, she tells me, "I love you more".  Once I grew up, she told me that when I have my own child, I'll understand just how much she loves me.  I know the first time I get to hand her my son, I'll be able to say, "I get it now, Mom".  :)
Quit making me cry at work!

Kids really do say the sweetest things, it's so great :)

  • @JennaHack, My mom used to always say (before having DD) "You will never know how much I love you until you have a baby, especially if your baby is as awesome as you are". I really do get it now. Now my mom always tells me "it's incredible how much we love our children, huh?!!.

Now I always tell DD "You will never know how much I love you until the day you have your own".
  • You really never know until that moment. It's amazing how much your love grows for your child each and every day. It's such a blessing!
